About the adventure
Embark on a high seas adventure departing from Neverwinter, sailing across the Trackless Sea and beyond the edge of the world in search of a mysterious treasure on an uncharted island of myth. Along the way, you will discover what dangers lurk beneath the waters, what strange people live out beyond them, and what secrets wait far above them, silently watching through the eons. This campaign is High Fantasy with plenty of wonder and hijinks you might expect. The enemies have a very lovecraftian flavor and their dark plot is one of cosmic destruction. This campaign involves significant roleplaying interspersed with combat that is very dangerous. I incorporate PC goals and delight in players coming up with creative solutions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "I had a great time with my months-long campaign. Brandon gave my fellow players and I the opportunity to express ourselves and bent the story to fit our character trajectories." - Jordan "The spelljamming campaign was a pleasant surprise that didn't make me feel that I was pressed for time and had the freedom to do anything. The characters were amazing thought out, and I felt like our choices mattered down to the point that we were able to achieve something that drastically helped our campaign all because of creative thought. Best campaign I was a part of yet!" - Paul "I had the pleasure of playing The Sea Beyond the World, a Spelljammer campaign run by Brandon as the DM. Brandon is an exceptional Dungeon Master—his roleplaying is top-tier, complete with distinct character voices, rich world-building, and an impressive ability to adapt the story to the players’ choices. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an immersive and unforgettable experience. Be prepared to lose yourself in a world of wonder and adventure!" - Larry

About me
I have been Gamemastering tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) for 24 years. This is not my hobby: This is my passion. I spend more time on content creation and honing my craft than on any other single thing in my life. I also have a background in theater and I worked as a mentalist (basically, a "mind reading magician") throughout college and grad school. I love performing and consider GMing to be a performance art. Each session is a show for you, about you, and starring you as players. My job is to keep you entertained and engaged.

Creating your character
Please roll 4d6 (drop the lowest) or use the point buy system to make a level 1 character using any officially printed Wizards of the Coast character options (not Unearthed Arcana). Your character must be in Neverwinter on the Sword Coast of Faerun at the start of the campaign and have reasons for signing up to join the crew of the ship undertaking the expedition. You can create the character on d&d Beyond, on PDF, or on paper. I can also create a sheet in roll20 for you to use if you wish. If you do not finish your character before session 0 then we fill finalize it together at that time. Please message me with any questions.
