About the adventure
Nestled in the verdant heart of the Western Heartlands, Berdusk is a city of whispered promises and perilous opportunities, where the glitter of coin and the gleam of fame are often stained by the shadows that cling to its cobblestone streets. Known as the “Harper’s Haven” for the secretive network said to pull strings behind its politics, Berdusk straddles the lifeblood trade routes between Elturel, Iriaebor, and the far Sword Coast. Its markets brim with exotic wares from across Faerûn—silks from Calimshan, spell-ink from Halruaa, relics dredged from the ruins of Netheril—while its winehouses, festhalls, and hidden gambling parlors thrum with dangerous liaisons. For those bold enough, the city offers three roads: wealth beyond measure, renown sung from Waterdeep to Amn… or an unmarked grave in the cold embrace of the Chionthar River. Here, the bold can make their mark in a thousand ways—by unraveling intrigues in the gilded courts of merchant princes, braving the haunted halls of long-forgotten keeps in the surrounding Reaching Woods, or bargaining with spellwrights whose runes burn with barely leashed power. Yet for every smiling patron there is a rival waiting with a dagger behind the curtain, and for every treasure claimed, another is cursed. The Harpers might recruit you for quiet heroics in the name of balance, the merchant houses might hire you to sabotage their competition, and the city’s underbelly—the smugglers, fences, and silent killers who meet in the damp glow of cellar lanterns—might tempt you with riches too great to ignore. But Berdusk is not a city that forgets. Fail a noble, betray a guild, or cross the wrong shadow in the wrong alley, and the vengeance that follows will be patient, precise, and absolute. Creating your character
Character Creation will occur in a private meeting with the DM. You will be allowed to roll 4d6 and will drop the lowest six times and then arrange scores as you like. If you are unhappy with your results, there is a 29-point buy option available. We will start at 1st level and will do character creation inside Fantasy Grounds. All necessary books will be provided.

Preparing for the session
You should load the Fantasy Grounds Unity Demo version at the link: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/home/FantasyGroundsUnity.php When you connect to my game, all the books and modules you will need will be available. You will also need to have a Discord account. Once I have accepted you as a player I will provide the link ot my server.

My games are about you creating a story with your characters. If you come up with an action or idea that fits the story but not necessarily the rules as written, I am open to letting you try it. We are here to have fun. Now that doesn't mean I will let anything happen, but I will allow you to convince me should be able to do it.
