About the adventure
This beginner-friendly, LGBTQ+ inclusive game of Star Trek Adventures Second Edition takes place in the year 2393, during a surge of breakthroughs in Transwarp technologies. Your ship, the U.S.S. Ouroboros, will be responsible for not only testing the "re-discovered" Spore Drive, but boldly going places that no one has ever gone before! Expect the unknown. Expect to be challenged in a way that Star Trek has done since the airing of the original series. But above all else, expect to have fun with characters of your own design and the crew that forms around them!

Meet the Game Master
About me
I'm a veteran GM of over 12 years with major focus on narrative and roleplay over hard "crunch". I started with D&D 4E, and over the years have played or run nearly every major system out there. My "pedigree" can be found on YouTube/Twitch where I've been posting my game sessions ever since 2017. Mindflayers love me, min-maxers fear me.

Creating your character
Characters will be crafted during Session 0, using the free online builder created by BCholmes. Homebrew species from fan sites like Continuing Mission are permitted within reason. The beauty of STA is that you can also create "Supporting Characters" to play as on the fly so that you can stay a part of the action even when your main character isn't in the current scene!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
In order to play, you'll need to join my Discord server and my Forge (Foundry-hosting) server. Both links will be sent prior to Session 0. Aside from that, all you need is a working web browser, an audible microphone, and a willingness to have fun!
What ELH brings to the table
I'm a huge fan of Rule of Cool. If you can give a cool speech, or sound slick as you technobabble, I will "Yes, and..." you to the stars. My goal is to provide an inclusive space where you can make your home among the stars while also confronting moral topics in classic Trek fashion.
Homebrew rules
As mentioned before, homebrew species are allowed if cleared by me ahead of time. All other rules stick fairly close to the rules-as-written.

How ELH creates a safe table
Session 0 is a must, as is filling out a Lines and Veils document. The X Card is also in-play, managed by a plug-in on Foundry that instantly pops up the card on all screens so that it can't be missed. Session 0 will set expectations, limits, and the potential seeds for character dynamics. I'm very good at making sure everyone remains comfortable with one another, and am not above removing "That Guy" should one show up.
