About the adventure
The wealthiest city in all the Realms thanks Umberlee the Bitch Queen for her favor and protection. Waterdeep has endured many trials in the past decades, rising to glory through seas of blood and salt. Only twelve moons ago on Fleetswake, on the Year of the Gauntlet, the City of Splendors triumphed over the invading horde of sahuagin. Now the city prepares a great offering to the capricious and hungry sea goddess, the greatest treasury ever dedicated to a deity in living memory, a taste of such splendorous wealth, all neatly arranged in one place... If someone were to get their hands on it... But who is brave enough, or desperate enough, to incite the vengeance of the Masked Lords and the Queen of the Seas? Who has the foresight to plan this master strike? Who the courage to carry it through and the talent to execute it? Someone's recuirintg... but they're bound to not be the only ones after this treasure. Are you signing in? This adventure is my own homebrew, losely based in official D&D materials. A mysterious figure is looking for adventurers willing to take the most dangerous job in Waterdeep's criminal history: steal the city's votive offering to Umberlee. The task will demand planning and daring, careful observation and swift improvisation. The heist itself is the first arc of the campaign, focused on gathering intel, planning for contingencies and, of course, performing the job! It will contain elements of espionage, social intrigue, action and cosmic horror. After that, the game will turn more sandboxy and the players can decide in which direction the next arc goes, depending on how the heist went.

About me
Greeting, hola, salut! My name's Eloy, my calling is to tell stories, my place is by a table, sharing laughter and epic moments with you. I've been a Game Master for 8 years in numerous systems. Also, i bring along other skills: I'm a lawyer trained in rhetoric, oratory and acting, I've been an educator, a journalist, an activist and an essayist. What I mean is: I know how to bring people together, how to steer towards a common goal, how to motivate and how to craft a captivating, focused narrative for all.

Creating your character
To create your PC, you need to provide the following information to the GM: —Character Sheet, whatever means you use to make it. All standard races and classes accepted. Talk to me to arrange any custom options or multiclassing. —Don't forget to fill out: your wealth, your languages and your alignment, they will be useful! —As to backstory, you can provide as much detail as you desire, but at first keep it brief and we can work it out over time. —Pay special attention to the reason why your character would enlist for a heist. What's their motivation and their ultimate goals.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have an account on Discord and on Owlbear Rodeo. Links will be provided to the respective servers. I advice having a character token, even if a provisional one. For this game, be ready to take notes. A heist is all about putting together information and foreseeing many possible contingencies. You might also focus on any lore details you wish me to expand upon.

Safety
How Eloy Vera Beltrán creates a safe table
There will be a special channel on the Discord server for everyone to make clear, in advance, what they're comfortable with and what they aren't. Every session will begin and end with a brief moment of me asking the players what they expect and if they have any concerns to raise. Other safety mechanisms can and will be discussed as needed.
