About the adventure

// Our world is infected by a conspiracy. In our day-to-day lives, we have to hide the truest parts of us to better fit in...and it's all to the conspirators' benefit. We need true heroes. // You will fight the conspiracy in their dreams and unlock their secret wounds and agendas. But don't forget: you have your own. You will encounter your shadow. This is an alien part of your subconscious that represents your best, and worst aspects. They're the voice in your head that begs for heroism... and rebellion. What parts do you accept? What parts do you deny? Find out as you explore an emotionally complex, symbolically rich dreamscape. FIGHT THE CONSPIRACY!

Character creation

Creating your character

It's critical (and way more fun) to make our characters together at session zero. As a party we will establish... - Your mundane and transcendent identities - Your thematic role in the story - Your promises to the other characters - Magical abilities

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Watch Paprika, Inception, Serial Experiments Lain, Mind Games, or any other trippy genre media. (Check the content warnings!) If you like, review the Girl by Moonlight core rules. I will teach as we play.

What dexter brings to the table

Like others, I use Foundry, music, and voices. What I do differently is a mix of multimedia experiments, edited videos, genre explorations. Expect 4th dimensional play!

Safety

How dexter creates a safe table

Players will be sent a Lines and Veils survey. We will come up with group norms at session zero. During the game we will utilize "raise your hand", direct messages, and open communication ta facilitate safe play. The content warnings below are in flux, we will establish what we clearly do and do not want in the game. Disturbing content will be veiled and treated with respect. Because the game is dark in tone, it's critical that we actively use our safety tools and adapt as needed. Safety is our group's collective responsibility. Your "no" through your line and veils will be respected and not up for debate by anyone.
