About the adventure
Dorothy felt the pounding in her chest, her grip tight on the bow. She dearly wished for something with heft, a shovel or hammer, something she could swing in the tight corridors. A bow can't help with... With evil spirits. The shovel probably wouldn't help here either. She looks to her companion, and thinks of what the voices that had spoken to her the other day. 'The blood of wind,' it had said. 'Trust what was buried in the blood.' The spirit grows closer to her hiding spot, sees how her companion shakes, and she grabs hold of that courage and determination that led her from the twister to the end of that yellow brick road and she lunges out of her hiding space, feels the air through her veins, that turn to lightning at her fingertips, making contact with the spirit. With a scream, that misty figure bursts and dissipates, leaving Dorothy breathing heavy as she falls to her knees. There is a bark and she looks to her companion, relief flooding through her as she picks up the small dog. "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." ~~~ An age old question, what would happen if this character was in this show? Crossovers range from cartoons, comics, movies, to internet death battle debates. The mists of Barovia already allow people from other planes to wander in. Who said it only had to be Faerun? For the amusement of Strahd and the dark powers that be, a more recognizable character has wandered in. Namely one from an established show/comic/movie/book/what have you. Though they have likely not remained unchanged. Those god-like are suddenly a lot more mundane, and those of normal ability will find surprising strength. In an unknown world with unexpected changes, you will go through the horrors of Barovia while trying to find out why you're there and potentially, how to get back. Or just maybe, Barovia is better than what your character left behind and you want to make sure you stay. The multiverse is vast and desires vary.

About me
Dungeon and Dragons and TTRPGs have been a staple of my life since I was in the single digits. I've had experience in all sorts of systems, from good old DnD to Shadow Run to Dread. If its a game system, chances are I've played it at least once, but of course I have the systems I'm most familiar with. Fantasy, sci fi, something more realistic, and even the occasional horror, I hope to run a variety of games for people. I love creativity and I love the great stories that come out of several people's ideas mixing together. Rules and modules are guidelines, but what matters is everyone is having fun. While I prefer games that are more roleplay heavy, combats and puzzles are certainly fun as well.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen during a free session zero. For the sake of balance, characters will be converted into 5e character sheets. There will be some homebrewing and frankensteining of features, but OP characters will be made weaker, and more mundane characters will be made stronger. It will start at level 1, and all 5e books are allowed and homebrews may be accepted after review. (Pointy Hat has some fun ones.) Stats will be decided by roll or point buy, players can decide for themselves.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a mic, a discord account, and a roll20 account. Players should come with a few character ideas. Some characters will be easier to translate than others, so it doesn't hurt to have a few options. Any previous homebrew leanings will need to be on hand to share. You want to translate your character into Pointy Hat's Vigil, have the Vigil PDF ready to share sort of thing.
What Sabre G brings to the table
I will be running on roll20. I have a number of 5e books already, and known how to make alterations for homebrew. There will be ambient music and there will certainly be an attempt at voice, but a VA, I am not. I generally run more on Rule of Cool over rules as written. Rules are good for guidance and keeping things on the rails, but my goal is to create a story with my players that they enjoy and have fun with. Sometimes its better to bend things for the rush of something awesome. The more creative and imaginative and narratively satisfying it is, the more likely it's going to work.

How Sabre G creates a safe table
When people sign up, I will send the consent checklist. I'll compile the hard no's on a document for everyone to keep in mind and so no one has to own up to what their hard no is if they don't want to. The X, N, and O will be messaged or spoken, whichever is more convenient. Lines and Veils will be discussed in session zero to cover the limits of anything that isn't an outright no, and any topics that may not have been covered by the list. Breaks will be done halfway through the session, or any super intense scenes as people need. If anyone has a personal issue, they will be able to message me directly.
