About the adventure
Black clouds coil and churn above the shattered spires of a forgotten citadel. The air hums with a power older than the planes themselves. In the heart of that ruin, shrouded in shadow and seething with malice, stands Vecna, the Whispered One. His single, baleful eye pierces the darkness, and the faint glimmer of his withered hand crackles with forbidden power. Around him, the fabric of reality quivers and tears, fragments of a thousand worlds drifting like embers in an endless void. Every whispered secret, every stolen soul, feeds the ritual circle at his feet. The lich-god lifts his gaze, sensing the ripple of defiance across the multiverse. Somewhere, heroes dare to rise against him—mortals with the audacity to challenge a god. A skeletal smile spreads across his ruined face. He has foreseen this. He has prepared for this. Their journey will carry them across worlds, through shattered kingdoms and legendary lands, but it will end here, in his grasp—or in oblivion. Far away, in some quiet corner of the multiverse, a party of adventurers takes its first step toward fate, glory, and annihilation. The planes tremble, the hourglass empties, and Vecna waits… all according to his plan. This epic, multiversal D&D campaign begins at level 10, thrusting heroes into a race against a god to save reality itself. The multiverse is unraveling. Will you rise to stop the Whispered One—or become another secret he claims for eternity? ---- This adventure celebrates fifty years of Dungeons & Dragons history. The story spans many beloved settings and wondrous planes of existence. Its cast includes characters iconic to longtime fans. This adventure's stakes involve the fate of all worlds—in other words, the multiverse. If the player characters finish this adventure successfully, they'll reach 20th level and will have thwarted one of the most notorious villains in D&D's history.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I’m Levi. I’ve been a DM for about ten years now, starting in Pathfinder 1e and eventually switching to Dungeons & Dragons. While I may not be quite as seasoned as some of the other DMs around here, I’ve been running games for friends, family, and strangers, and we have all thoroughly enjoyed the game. I like to focus on narrative, looking to intertwine my players’ characters into the story, making them feel like their decisions matter, not only for the narrative of the campaign, but matter to them. Because that’s the goal at the end of the day. A DM sitting alone with an entire world written up doesn’t have a story until heroes join the table. And that’s where you come in! Join me and let’s work together to create a one of a kind story. While I’ve done custom worlds before, I will be leaning more into published works from Wizards of the Coast. As I mentioned, my goal is to take a campaign you’ve always been interested in (or one you’ve played before) and make it unique to your character and the party. You will feel like your character isn’t just another hero in a rabble traveling through Faerun, but the main character of the story. I will be playing remotely, using virtual tabletops. I don’t like the idea of automating everything about the game, however, so, expect to bring your dice and roll them! I won’t be fudging my rolls on my end, and I expect honesty from my players (though, maybe not from their characters). Once we get started in a game, whether that’s a one-shot or a full campaign, I am only just a message away to answer questions or provide necessary information before or after a session. I’m happy to entertain all kinds of requests for specific games (even ones I don’t have set up) or one-shots. Just send me a message and let’s get something started! Here is a recommendation from one of my players (leaving them anonymous for privacy): “I have played several campaigns over 5+ years with Levi as DM. Whether Levi is creating an original story or following a book, every session is well prepared, detailed, and immersive. Levi gives life to NPCs and the world they live in. Levi gives players full control of the adventure and is great at improvising when the party throws him a curveball. Whether you've made it to level 20 or you're just learning your first cantrip, I highly recommend Levi as your next DM.“

Creating your character
Characters are created in DnDBeyond and will be managed there for leveling up between sessions. Since your character will be starting at level 10, you will be allowed to make changes to your character, including race, ability scores, class, etc, up to level 12. At level 13, your character choices are locked in. If there is content from a D&D book which you'd like to use for your character and I'm missing the book, let me know and I'll provide it.

How TheForeverDM creates a safe table
We will have a Session 0 to discuss table etiquette. We typically take one 5-10 minute break mid-session. I'm available on Discord throughout the session and check it when I receive messages. If a player feels uncomfortable, all they must do is message me and we can take a break.
