Creating your character

The date is 9:41 Dragon. The game takes place during a time of great turmoil when a massive explosion destroys the Conclave peace talks between mages and templars, creating a dangerous tear in the sky called the Breach. The player characters will, as a party, be the only ones with the ability to close the Rifts. I will share the Dragon Age core rulebook for you to create your characters from. We will roll together for stats.

Preparing for the session

This is an asynchronous play-by-post game played by Discord with a dice roller bot. This means that posts will be made throughout the week; it's to the pace of the group. I can link a Forge (Foundry) game to roll and integrate that, but it's not required. All playing will be done by text, making things accessible for those who aren't able to use voice. I will update at least daily. You will get to experience the story and the roleplay, while also learning about--or getting more experience with--play-by-post format and Avrae. You do not need to know Avrae, or any of the other tools. I can teach you. What Dreams & Eni brings to the table

There are two GMs! You can choose your preference. We will be teaching you the AGE System as we go. The Discord (either Dreams' Discord, or a private one, your preference) will have a dice bot, and form for your character sheet. We will work with you one-on-one to integrate your character into the story. The Game Masters: 🔷Enigma GMs with the help of various tools about 20 years of experience with text roleplay. He prefers long-form writing. If you want extremely immersive, thorough posts, go with him. 🔷 Dreams (who has more than 20 years experience), tends towards a quicker style. Shorter, more to the point posts throughout the day.

How Dreams & Eni creates a safe table

We hope to make a place where all can feel accepted, regardless of race, gender, beliefs. 👨🏾‍🦲♾️🏳️‍🌈 Safety tools will always be in effect; this game is a safe and inclusive place. We will use safety cards, Monte-Cooke consent form, lines and veils, and any other safety tools the group needs. Both Enigma and Dreams are neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+, and seek to provide a safe table for all players. Accessibility is a big part of the game, and accommodations will be made to meet your needs so that you can have fun.
