About the adventure
The Dessarin Valley has been plagued, of late, by a series of series of strange signs: men in masks sighted at the fringes of town, monsters coming too close to civilization, and aberrant weather patterns. Though the hapless denizens of the valley have no idea, the end of the world is coming, and these are the signs. The Elder Elemental Eye has gathered together four cults of elemental destruction in order to herald the coming doom. Four prophets lead the way to devastation, competing in unison to be the first to plunge the valley, and soon the world, into elemental chaos. They make their lair together deep beneath the earth in a megadungeon that connects all of them together. Of course, the megadungeon is the not the only part of the campaign. One must find it first, and along the way, many other problems will crop up for the adventurers and the valley, providing a wide open sandbox for you to tackle the way you wish.

About me
Yooooooo I have been a DM for close to a decade, but in a roundabout way it took me a few years to find D&D. I rolled with a group that was too cool to play something as 'mainstream' as D&D. Sad to think I spent so long fiddling around in vague things like FATE to appease them! Now I've been my own DM for about five years, running things like Pathfinder 1e and D&D 5e in campaigns both prewritten and homebrewn. I've learned a lot of lessons, made a lot of mistakes, and I think I've come out the other side, if not a great DM like my players tell me, then an experienced one. You deserve my time and attention, much as I expect the same from my players in return. So why charge? I really put everything I have into my campaigns. I care about not only making them as good as they can be, but trying to make them as fun as they can be for you. I'm usually amenable to discussion on making a story that works for all of us. I want to provide sessions that are fun both as a roleplaying experience as a game. For a time, I was in this for the love of the game and to make it economically viable for me to just spend more time doing what I already love doing. That hasn't changed, but as I found myself dedicating more and more of my time to it, picking up more and more groups, I decided that for now, it's my full-time job. It's something I invest a lot of time in that players don't 'see' before the session time. It's time spent crafting custom encounter maps, reviewing and rebuilding adventures and jury-rigging the complex interactions of the virtual tabletop to run as smoothly as I can imagine with automation and user-friendly interfaces that work for you. I care about delivering on that.

What to expect
Preparing for the session

What Prism DM brings to the table
Foundry VTT and D&D Beyond, amazing maps and music, many automation and animation tools that make games immersive and painless. Everything will be provided to you in digital format. I will also help with keeping a log of some important details, but players should expect to take notes for things they care about remembering. I also provide access to D&D Beyond when needed, custom maps and tokens, most of them made painstakingly by me. I do my best to bring characters to life with different voices and act out the roleplaying on my end. I encourage roleplay and cool idea, but I am a rules-positive DM, even if my house rules sometimes clash. I have also commissioned many custom enemy tokens for this campaign, AND created all the major maps myself!

How Prism DM creates a safe table
We will go over possible house rules and adventure overview in Session 0. The adventure includes a megadungeon, but we will spend plenty of time questing outside of the dungeon as well. The Dessarin Valley is quite wide, after all, and has many towns about where events can take place.
