About the adventure
Setting The beautiful city of Senzula has been around for many, many years. This sparkling Pearl by the Sea is breathtaking, safe, and lovely. However, history being what it is, the undercity foundations of this modern marvel are shifting, rising, roaring and ready to enter the light above. This, combined with threats beyond its borders, may mean that this golden age may suffer extinction. Preserve the city, keep the peace, protect the innocent. Welcome to Senzula. Play I tend to run a very, very open world setting. I have hundreds, no exaggeration, of adventures waiting for you. You will never, ever be pressured into doing something you don't want to do; just choose another direction, another path, another option, and make it happen. I love improv, I have lots and lots of backup and experience, and I have a lot of fun when the players go crazy and take the reins. By the same token, if you want to sit back, relax, and let me entertain you, you won’t regret it at all! There is no wrong answer, there is no wrong approach. We’ve got this, together! You This campaign will run from level 1 to about level 15-ish. If you join late, we will level you appropriately, so never be afraid to jump in at any time. We plan on playing every other week, which should give us a wonderful, continuing saga without stress or burnout. Any legal character build is fine, and we will help you if you are unsure how to approach it. I will always be a little early to every session, and would love to help you out! Be familiar with your camera and microphone. This campaign may be broadcast on YouTube/Twitch.

Creating your character
This will be D&D 2024. Standard Array is fine. Any legal characters are welcome. Make your character sheet wherever you like, and let us know if you need help. Roll dice wherever you like. We trust you. We will start at level 1, but move up from there, up to about level 15. If you join the ongoing game, we will level you appropriately.
We will level you appropriately when you start, so you won't feel outclassed. Make sure your camera and microphone are in good working order. I will always be early, and help you as needed. Please feel free to ask anything, let us know anything, and have fun!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is to join us on Discord: https://discord.gg/Y3csM8efBH Make your characters wherever you like, you are responsible for keeping track of your character. You will need a working Microphone and Camera. These games may be broadcast on YouTube.
What Doc brings to the table
I excel at roleplay, and there will be plenty of that. I am also good at worldbuilding, and have a rich setting that I hope you will enjoy. I do so love rich, elegant descriptions, and deep, plot driven stories! We are basically rules as written for this game, though the occasional rule of cool may sneak through. You will certainly encounter creatures and spells that you have never seen before. I do try to use some voices, although that is not my strong point! We will not use any maps for combat, in general, this is theatre of the mind. Occasionally, I will use Owlbear Rodeo or Photoshop for maps. I will have provide pictures of people and places from time to time. I am extremely flexible, and will adapt to whatever moves you wish to make in-game. I do not seek to limit your player agency. I will, however, not allow any bullying or abuse of any players. I just won't. Should this happen, your money will be refunded and you will be asked to leave. This is a safe place. I realize that in this situation, I am working for you. I appreciate you, and will give you my best in return.

How Doc creates a safe table
Anyone can take a break whenever they wish, including missing a session or two, without penalty. Anyone may request a fade to black without penalty. The safety of the group and the individual is our main concern. At any time, any player may comment on their concerns, and we will discuss them immediately (Luxon Technique).
