About the adventure
Welcome to Curse of Strahd, a gothic horror campaign set in the mist-shrouded realm of Barovia, where the land itself groans under the weight of an eternal curse. Trapped behind thick, unnatural fog, your party of adventurers finds themselves in a world ruled by fear and superstition. The villagers speak in hushed tones of the Devil Strahd, a vampire lord whose castle looms high above the valley, watching all. Wolves howl through the woods. Shadows stretch too long. Even the roads seem to twist of their own will. What begins as a simple journey quickly turns into a fight for survival as you unravel the tangled fates of cursed bloodlines, lost souls, and forgotten gods. But Barovia is not without its sparks of resistance. Hope flickers in the eyes of the oppressed, waiting for heroes to rise. Will you ally with desperate rebels, lost spirits, or ancient powers buried in ruin? Will you brave haunted manors, cursed forests, and the halls of Castle Ravenloft itself? Every choice matters. Every ally has a cost. And somewhere within it all, Strahd von Zarovich waits—not just to destroy you, but to play with you. In this tale of dread, temptation, and tragedy, the only thing more dangerous than the darkness... is what it brings out in you.

About me
I have been professional GMing for over four years now, and I’m looking to expand my adventures to the Start Playing online space. Tabletop DnD showed up in my life when I was in college, trying out the hobby with a game of DnD 3.5. I’ve been hooked ever since.

How Kriven creates a safe table
I use The Lines and Veils, X card, and open door systems. Any issues or problems can be resolved with private messages, voice chats, and moderated conversations. Games can be paused with the XX card at any time. After care is done when needed or when your GM notices feelings may have developed. This may be done with all the players or only the ones necessary.
