About the adventure
BY ORDER OF THE ALDORI SWORDLORDS AND THE OFFICE OF THE LORD MAYOR REGARDING THE SOUTHERN TERRITORIES Let it be known that the unrest and lawlessness in the southern reaches have persisted too long. Banditry, monstrous unchecked aggression, and a lack of governance now threaten the stability of the Rostland border. LADY JAMANDI ALDORI issues this call for capable individuals, be they freeblades, spellcasters, or scouts; to present themselves at the Aldori Manor on the The 24th of Calistril, at the falling of the sun. A CHARTER OF EXPLORATION shall be granted to those who prove their merit. This charter grants the bearer the legal authority to: Explore and map the Greenbelt. Eliminate threats to trade and travel. Claim, settle, and rule occupied territories under the sanction of Brevoy. This is not a conscription. It is an opportunity for those with the steel to hold what they take. Entrance to the estate is by invitation or proof of capability only. This campaign will take you from the halls of the swordlord - Jamandi Aldori, to the stolen lands - then onwards to a kingdom of your own. It is an open ended campaign - the next steps can be in several different directions. You can forgo one direction to pursue another. The world will evolve around you. It truly is a sandbox for you to enjoy. For my part I will seek to give you as many options as possible. I will not follow the campaign strictly if there's an option to write better stories with you as players.

About me
I am currently fast on my way to two years of being on Startplaying.games and I have met some truly fantastic human beings pretending to be anything but human beings. I've enjoyed some amazing roleplaying moments, learned an incredible amount from people I now call friends. I have felt sadness, anger, fear, trepidation along with the folks at my tables as the story has developed. I am truly excited to continue the story. Be it on the deck of a ship, the deepest crypt or a court of lords and ladies I find doing this particular work to be incredibly rewarding. if you are reading my profile you are considering an advertisement I've posted, or you're interested in booking me for some DM work so let me go on to tell you a few things about my self. My real name is Jim, I'm 38 and I have three kids, two of them almost grown - one still in the starting zone. I have a wife who loves to try and throw in a comment when I leave the microphone as she gets to hear the story as much as the rest of you! I work in the day but dream one day of replacing that with this instead in whatever capacity I am able to. I consider myself a nerd through and through - books, tv shows, and most significantly video games. I will enjoy a prolongued conversation on the current situation with massively multiplayer games, the merits of Final Fantasy 8, or the proper way to play Skyrim. I'm too cool and old school to be concerned with the release of GTA 6 but I'll probably still get it... Now onto TTPRG's. My gateway drug was baldur's Gate 2. My first foray into the world of pen and paper was probably forum RPs which then evolved into dabling with D&D - more so trying to find the right people to convince to let me run a game for them. I eventually found them and they gave me the chance to DM. That naturally evolved into Pathfinder 2e which I consider my main system. The rest is history!

Creating your character
Character Creation – Who Are You in the Stolen Lands? I want grounded characters. People who feel real, who have history, struggles, and personal stakes in this world. But beyond mechanics, I want to know who you are. What drives you? What do you fear? Do you have personal missions, vendettas, or debts unpaid? Who in your past has shaped you? enemies, lost loves, old friends? Your story should be woven into this world. You should have a connection to the immediate regions around the Stolen Lands or a real reason for being here. This invitation didn’t go out to all of Golarion, so your character should belong here in some way or have a clear, compelling reason to arrive. That said, if you’re playing something wild and unusual, expect it to come up in the story. This world will react to you. I will, however, work ceaselessly to make sure you love the character you play. Pathbuilder full accepted of course, with importing of JSON or a Code.

What Alucair brings to the table
What I love most in any TTRPG is freedom. The ability to do the crazy, the daring, the unknown. You want to leap through a window? Do it. Steal the crown and run? Try it. Throw a cup at a patron just to see what happens? Why not? That’s what I want to bring to this game, a world where your choices truly matter. A campaign that is just as much about grand stories of kingdoms and war as it is about your character’s journey, their personal triumphs and struggles. This isn't just a collective adventure, it's a space for your character’s story to unfold in ways you never expected. I provide the tools and foundation, but the adventure? That’s all yours. 📚 Official Kingmaker Paizo Campaign for Foundry VTT 💻 Always Online Server – Log in anytime 🗺️ Custom Tiles, Interactive Elements & Full Mod Support – If you need more, just ask!

How Alucair creates a safe table
🏳️🌈🌱 Safety, Inclusivity, and Open Communication 🌱🏳️🌈 At my table, every player’s comfort and enjoyment are a top priority. This is a space where everyone is welcome, respected, and encouraged to share their stories in an environment free from toxicity. Whether you’re new to tabletop RPGs or a veteran, this is your adventure, and I want to make sure you feel safe and supported at all times. Here’s how I ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all players: 📜 Lines and Veils Before the campaign begins, all players will be given access to a Lines and Veils document. Lines are hard boundaries—topics that will never appear in the game. Veils are themes that might exist but will fade to black or be handled in a way that ensures no discomfort. These will be customizable for each group, and I encourage anonymous submissions to ensure everyone has a voice. 🛡️ Session 0 – Building the Foundation We will begin with a Session 0, which is entirely dedicated to: ✔️ Establishing campaign expectations and themes ✔️ Aligning character backstories with the setting ✔️ Reviewing and reinforcing safety tools ✔️ Setting Lines, Veils, and comfort levels ✔️ Answering any questions players have Session 0 is not only about setting up the game—it’s about building trust between us as players. 🔴🟡🟢 X, N, and O Cards – Instant Feedback I use the X, N, and O system throughout the game to ensure players can communicate their comfort levels in real-time: X (Stop) – "I am not comfortable with this. Please fade to black or shift away." N (Caution) – "I am uneasy, but I can continue if we adjust the approach." O (Okay/More of this!) – "I am enjoying this moment and would love more of it!" These signals can be used verbally, digitally, or through private messages. No justification is ever required—just tap the X, and we move on immediately. 💬 Aftercare – Always Here to Listen TTRPGs can be emotional, intense, and deeply immersive. After each session, I check in with all players to ensure that everyone is okay. If something felt off, if you need to talk, or if you just want to decompress and discuss the game, I’m always available via Discord messages or voice chat. 🔹 Nothing is off the table—if something isn’t working, we adjust. 🔹 Your feelings matter, and I am here to make sure this campaign is a positive experience for you. 🔹 Reach out anytime, before, during, or after the session—I’m here to listen. ✅ Final Thought – We Build This Story Together Kingmaker is about shaping a world together, and that includes the play environment. This is a space where every player should feel safe, included, and empowered to be themselves. Your voice is always heard, and together, we’ll ensure this adventure is amazing for everyone. 🏹⚔️🌿 Welcome to the Stolen Lands—your legend begins here! 🌿⚔️🏹
