About the adventure

The classic Curse of Strahd, with the added House of Lament starting adventure. The land of Barovia is more dead than alive, perpetually feeding on the souls of the damned in a nightly parade that all in Ravenloft witness. But it grows hungry, the locals too sparse and sapped to be worth tormenting. The Lord has graciously called for guests to visit the land, to liven up things, or perhaps to construct a grand finale to the parade.

About me

27y.o. Creative writer from Athens GA. I got into tabletop and DnD right before starting college, then took off during my college years in the local RPG club. After graduation in 2020 and the everything that happened, having my crew of ttrpg buddies and baddies to go after kept me sane. Now I want to extend that magic to others also looking for a bit of creative release in a hectic world. I've played mostly DnD 5e and am gradually adjusting to the recent updates in 5.5, and also have some experience with the Lancer rpg system.

What Deja Gonsalves brings to the table

My style of GMing is all about Rule of Cool, challenging combat, and immersive roleplay. I will have background music playing and a well-organized discord server with room for character notes, lore, and book keeping.

Homebrew rules

Bonus Action to drink potions/give someone a potion. Take max hp on level ups. Auto-long rest on level up. Can inflict grievous/specific attacks (such as amputation or maiming) either on a nat 20 or when rolling max damage on an attack. Enemies may roll a courage check (charisma save) when bloodied or when half their numbers are gone to determine if they are going to continue to fight or run away, the DC scales based on nature of the encounter (lowest at 10, highest at 20)
