About the adventure
Corruption grows within the festering heart of the forest of Davokar as the empire of Ambria expands northward, hungry for riches and territory. Political turmoil swirls like a gathering storm above the heads of common folk just trying to get by. Riches and fame await those brave or foolish enough to go looking for it. Symbaroum is a dark horror fantasy game in a harsh and often lethal world. This is a Play by Post game, a text-based format that prioritizes theater of mind and narrative descriptions perfectly suited for the rich world of Symbaroum. Never tried PbP before? No problem, I'll walk you through every step.

Creating your character
Premade character sheets will be available to use as is, to customize from, or we can create a character from scratch together via character channels and/or the OOC chat channel. Rules and guidance will be provided every step of the way based on player experience and preference.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
- A free Discord account to access the PbP channel - Complete the Campaign Consent survey linked in the Rules and Safety channel. Your responses are only visible to me. If you have any questions about the checklist feel free to ask. -Access to Google Sheets for the character sheet. -Plan to post at least 3 times per week.

How Anduriel creates a safe table
We will be utilizing the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist, a link to which can be found once you join my Discord channel. I also employ an Open Door policy, so please also feel free to DM me any time. Due to the slower nature of PbP, more time can be taken between replies to ensure the game is going the direction we all want it, and any problems can be addressed quicker.
