Creating your character

1. you can choose any official D&D race ,class or background from the new D&D rules 2024. 2. characters start at level 1 but will level up quickly to level 3. if you have any questions or need help with the character or backstory, My Dms are always open and i have open door policy.

Preparing for the session

A Foundry account for accessing the virtual tabletop and game materials. A D&D beyond account for accessing the Character creator and game materials. A Discord account for communication, roleplaying, and session organization. A good quality microphone for clear communication during sessions held over voice calls. A stable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted gameplay. A dedicated space for notetaking to keep track of the rich lore, character details, and important information shared during the game. I recommend creating deep character stories that I can weave into the world, adding depth to the narrative and enhancing the overall storytelling experience.

What Del brings to the table

Subscription to Foundry Virtual Tabletop (VTT) for immersive gameplay with animations, sound effects, and ease-of-life features. Carefully curated playlist for every mood and moment in the game, enhancing the atmosphere of each scene. Utilizes a Discord server for communication, roleplaying, and organizing sessions, providing all necessary campaign information and scheduling sessions.

Homebrew rules

Better Criticals A critical hit results in maximum damage from the weapon’s normal damage dice. For example, a sword that does 1d6 damage under normal circumstances does 6 damage on a critical hit, then adding another damage roll and modifiers at the end. For Spells, Critical hits deal Half of the max damage plus normal rolled damage.

How Del creates a safe table

I prioritize the safety and comfort of all players by implementing safety tools. Before we start the campaign, I'll provide a link to the Lines and Veils document. This document allows players to specify any themes or topics they prefer to avoid or approach with caution. Our Session 0 is dedicated to discussing the Lines and Veils document in detail, as well as going over player boundaries and preferences. For newer players, Session 0 also includes an explanation of how the game mechanics work and what to expect during the campaign. After each session, I practice aftercare by checking in with players to gather feedback. This feedback helps me improve the gaming experience and address any concerns or suggestions from the players. Additionally, I have a few rules in place to ensure a positive and respectful gaming environment, including zero tolerance for harassment. These rules are aimed at ensuring everyone has a good time and promote basic principles of being a decent human being, such as kindness and respect for others.
