About the adventure

The Sword Coast has been thrown into chaos with the influx of Giant attacks. Strange sights have been reported with these attacks, with Giants of all kinds mixed in their pillaging, and the lowly Hill Giants giving orders to mighty Fire and Ice Giants. The Lord's Alliance has been stretched thin, with calls for aid coming from all corners of the Sword Coast. Adventurers from all walks of life have banded together against this new threat, and you have banded together to save those who cannot save themselves against this looming threat. Can you solve the mystery of this unexpected aggression and stop the Sword Coast from being torn apart by Giant-Kin??

About me

Welcome heroes! My name is Andrew, and it is a pleasure to meet you. I hope to introduce (or for you veterans reintroduce) you to the fantastical worlds of Dungeons and Dragons. This wonderful hobby has been an integral part of my life for the past 15 years, and have had the wondrous opportunity to sit behind the screen for 12 campaigns for the past 10 years. I absolutely love watching players craft stories and entwine them with their fellow adventurers at the table, making unforgettable and unique threads that can only be crafted playing the world's greatest role-playing game. As a DM, my priority is you, the player. Making sure that the table is a fun atmosphere filled with loud laughter, tense silences, and bated breath as we wait for the almighty dice to tell us if the next critical will be a success or failure. I hope you will join me in telling your next incredible story, and making unforgettable memories with wonderful people ready to take on the next challenge around the corner.

Character creation

Creating your character

During Session 0, the campaign will be introduced, and our players will have their first chance to meet. During this session, character concepts will be traded and discussed, and together, we will roll our first dice to create our characters. All official D&D books are allowed, but please refrain from bringing homebrew classes.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need to have a Discord Account and a Fantasy Grounds Account. The Fantasy Grounds Unity Demo program is free on Steam, and once we have a chance to talk, you will be invited to the game's Discord Server.

What Andrew Garcia brings to the table

I will be bringing the story, the adventure, and the music to the table each week. I also have all of the official D&D 5e books on Fantasy Grounds, allowing the players to have any information about the system at their fingertips.

Safety

How Andrew Garcia creates a safe table

This game contains high fantasy elements that can push the edges of your imagination, while being grounded in some of the difficult parts of our reality. I provide warnings and brief players prior to any problematic encounters. If at any point, something covered during any session makes any player uncomfortable, my DMs are open for any warning, and I am more than happy to pause or stop a session to address the discomfort.
