About the adventure
You will be playing out the last dramatic and tragic day of your characters life in this tense, roleplay heavy oneshot game. character creation is part of the session and it requires zero prep! The themes will change with each oneshot that is assembled. One thing that remains true for each - days ago, the world went dark. No stars, no sun, no moon. Light sources are dwindling, and in the dark...They are stalking you. An ominous threat in the dark that only has one weakness - the light.

About me
Greetings, salutations and andaran atishan everyone! I am Emma, or Hummalou on the internet. I have been running games for 8 years, and for a large portion of that I have been running games that are streamed on Twitch. By day I am a high school teacher and I like to take the patience, humour and inclusive practice I use in my day job to the tables that I run. I am passionate about collaborative storytelling and I am at my best when running games where we laugh, cry and punch oppressive forces in the face! I will always encourage the rule of cool, feeling epic, doing it for the bit and having fun being the highest priority. I take game systems and deconstruct them a little to remove some of the crunch to instead focus on the stories we are weaving together in a more cinematic way. I have always prided myself in creating safe spaces for my players, your comfort and happiness is key. I run inclusive and welcoming spaces, for any and all marginalized people.

Creating your character
The creation process is included in the oneshot and is a simple system! All you need is a bit of paper to keep a note of the traits that make up your character.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Having an account for zoom would be preferred but it can run on discord if needed. Aside from that, no other account is needed! For dice rolling, either have 10d6 ready or you can use a digital dice roller if needed.
What Hummalou brings to the table
This system does not utilize NPCs but you can expect some suspenseful scene setting and the growing dread in how the game is run. The system uses a simple set of rules but I always lean in favour of players and like to embrace "yes, and" when running games!
