About the adventure
Welcome to Thylea, a land where gods walk among mortals, oaths shape reality, and the Titans are stirring once more. Five centuries ago, the legendary Dragonlords forged a sacred pact, the Oath of Peace, to halt the war between gods and Titans. But the Oath is now set to expire, and the balance of power threatens to collapse. As prophecy foretells the Doom of Thylea, you are among the heroes chosen to stand against the coming storm. This is an epic, level 1 to 15 campaign set in a world deeply inspired by ancient Greek mythology. You’ll face mythic monsters, tragic choices, and divine politics, all while exploring sun-soaked islands, forgotten ruins, and sacred temples. Your character isn’t just another adventurer. You are part of a prophecy that will change the fate of the world. The game blends high-stakes combat with narrative-driven roleplay, exploration, and heroic drama. You’ll swear sacred oaths, forge bonds of guest-friendship, and test your will against fate itself. This is a campaign where the story matters, and your choices have real consequences. Whether you're new to D&D or a veteran of the table, all are welcome. I'm a native Greek DM with a deep love for mythology and storytelling, and I bring this world to life with flavor, cultural nuance, and a few surprises from home. Odyssey of the Dragonlords features custom races, backgrounds, and subclasses. Players are encouraged to choose options from the setting to fully immerse themselves in this mythic tale.

About me
Hello adventurers, my name's Ted and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I've been a Dungeon Master for D&D 5E for the past 5 years. I started my professional full-time DM career on November of 2021 and I've been having a blast! I am Greek born and raised, which gives me the edge when I talk for the NPCs, they all have a natural Eastern European accent! Joking aside, I love D&D and I enjoy playing every single session. I am very passionate about the game and all my players have had a great time. I DM for most of the official modules from Wizards of the Coast. I can also pick up other books if a group requests them, but will need some time to prepare. I hope you consider me to be your Dungeon Master on your next epic adventure!

Creating your character
Players will start from level 1 and progress to level 15 in the span of this campaign. When a player signs up for the campaign, I will forward them the "Player's Guide to Odyssey" which contains the information for all the custom subclasses, races and spells unique for this campaign. On Session 0 we will settle on the classes that everyone wants to play and which Epic Path they want to choose. We will also be rolling for an array that everyone in the group will share (if the numbers end up being on the low end we will instead use Point Buy).
The array that we rolled for and everyone shares is: 16, 14, 14, 13, 9, 8 The group composition is: Medusa Ranger (Demi-God), Satyr Bard (Cursed One), Siren Sorcerer (Haunted One) and Centaur Fighter (Doomed One).
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All players need to have a working mic and a stable internet connection. Webcam is not necessary but always appreciated (it's nice to see the faces of the people you're talking to). Everyone should have a basic understanding of the rules, of course they will be assisted if they don't remember something. Roll20 as well as Discord account are necessary. Finally, players will need a Syrinscape Online account where I will be streaming music and ambience sounds from.
What Ted brings to the table
I have a Pro account on Roll20, as well as all core rulebooks that I can share with my players. I am very proficient with scripts and macros on Roll20 that speed up combat a ton. Music and ambience will be streamed from Syrinscape Online Player.

How Ted creates a safe table
On Session 0 we will discuss the rulings we will follow, introduce ourselves, decide on the party composition and go over the way the campaign works. We will roll for stats, but everyone will use the array we roll. If the rolls are bad we will go with point-buy/standard array for all. Gameplay begins with session 1. We will use the "X, N and O" cards as macro on Roll20. Players can expect a fast paced and rules light gaming experience.
