About me

I love to tell and create new stories with people. TTRPGs were instrumental in helping me to discover my own voice, and I want to give that experience to anyone I can and make friends along the way.

Took the time to really get to know my characters backstory and had it in the forefront of their mind while storytelling. Same for everybody's characters.

His homebrew worlds are really immersive and fun! I played his Post-apocalyptic setting for a one shot. He uses awesome visuals, music, and special effects, which I hadn't had a GM use before. I had such a great time! : ) would highly recommend!!

DJ is extremely knowledgeable and experienced as a D&D GM, as well as a storyteller for ttrpgs in general. He excels at patience, and open-mindedness, catering to a safe space, and providing a tailor-made experience that is fun and inclusive. Every week I look forward to his game.

Character creation
Creating your character

We will build characters together using the Cypher System tools website from Monte Cook Games, and import them into Foundry.

What to expect
Preparing for the session

Read the synopsis of book one of Star Wars The High Republic: The Light of The Jedi if you haven’t read the series yet. This campaign takes place shortly after The Fallen Star at the end of Phase 1 of the series. If you do not know how to play Cypher System, I will happily teach you one on one before you play with the group.

What DJ brings to the table

I do character voices, have music, and have a quiet and supportive discord community. I also use a foundry server for my Cypher Games.

Homebrew rules

I change Cypher damage to the defending pool taking damage first. If you are defending with might, your might is damaged, if your defending with speed then your speed is damaged.
