About the adventure
The realm of Nivarenth teeters on the edge of unraveling, torn apart by the secret war of five shadowy factions. In the midst of this silent chaos, The Concord of Ash—revolutionaries cloaked in fire and vision—has hired you for a mission steeped in danger and deceit. Your target is Kevblok, a turncoat and former operative who now dances to someone else’s tune. He’s burned his bridges and double-crossed the wrong people. The Concord wants him alive—but they don’t care how bruised he is when you drag him back. Kevblok has secured passage on a merchant vessel departing Wulfhaven Piers at dawn, and time is running short. The docks are crowded, the alleys are shadowed, and word has it he’s traveling with a private security detail—armed, alert, and not above killing to protect their client. Your orders are clear: Find him. Subdue him. Get him to your boat before sunrise. Whatever happens along the way… well, no one’s paying you to ask questions.

Creating your character
When/Where: Character creation will happen at Session 0 through DnD Beyond. Rules/Sources Used: We will be running DnD 5e 2014(Legacy) Ruleset. Only WotC source books are allowed. Character Sheets: You have the option of using DnD Beyond or the classes and races preloaded into Foundry VTT. Unfortunately I do not have any resources to offer in DnD Beyond, but given enough time I can manually enter in a preferred sub-class or race from a WotC source book into Foundry VTT. Starting Level and Ability Scores: You will be playing a level 3 character. You have the option between three sets of Ability Scores: (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8), (15, 15, 15, 8, 8, 8) or (13, 13, 13, 12, 12, 12)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎲You will need an internet-capable device, preferably computer or laptop as they function the best in Foundry VTT. 🎲You will need a Discord account and Discord installed on your device. We will use this as our way to communicate with each other, so a mic is preferred. A link to my server will be sent to everyone at the beginning of Session 0. 🎲You will need a free player account on The Forge. https://forge-vtt.com/
What Cruise Spellins brings to the table
We will be playing in Foundry VTT where I have set up a soundscape for each map. Any handouts will be digital and I'll attempt voices🫠 The world in which you will be dipping your toes is a creation of my own mind with custom maps and story lines.

How Cruise Spellins creates a safe table
We will start the game with a session 0 where we will discuss Lines & Veils, general vibes of the game, and player expectations. It will also cover character creation and backstory development. X, N, & O tools will be available in Foundry and there's an Open Door policy in place, however the game will continue without the player present. Kindness, consideration, and civility towards each other is a requirement. Racial slurs, derogatory language, homophobia/transphobia, and misogynistic views will not be tolerated, nor will PvP or any other acts of aggression between player characters. We're all here to have a good time, and I will do everything in my power to keep the space safe. Be sure to read the content warnings as these are aspects that will almost certainly part of the game. However, ALL sexual content will be a "Fade to Black" with a Skill Check and a Con Save to gauge your performance😉 We will end the session with a discussion which will include Stars and Wishes.
