About the adventure
Some prophecies are meant to be broken. An ancient and powerful dragon, a being of artificial creation, moves through the shadows of history. It has a single, terrifying goal: to unravel and control the Draconic Prophecy itself. Its influence has subtly guided the course of history toward a catastrophic end. Now, the first threads of its master plan are beginning to surface in the wild frontier of the Mournland Marches. This is a long-term, epic campaign designed to take a party of heroes from fledgling adventurers to legendary champions, journeying from level 1 to 20. You will travel across Khorvaire, delve into forgotten ruins, and uncover a conspiracy that threatens the very fabric of reality.

About me
Hey everyone, Online I'm known as Thegreatnoname or just Noname and I’ve been playing D&D for twenty…ish years and have been a Dungeon Master for nearly as many starting back in 3.5. These Days I am DMing 2024 5e games on Talespire, Roll20 and in person for home games and paid events. Focusing on games set in Eberron, I am converting classic modules and adventures into the setting. Using classic maps, traps and monsters while updating things and creating an evolving narrative with the types of stories the party are looking to play in. I’m always open to questions so feel free to reach out if you are looking for an Eberron Game or Talespire DM.

Creating your character
This listing is for a free spot in an existing game in progress. Your character will be joining the established party at Level 3. For generating ability scores, you have the flexibility to choose what works best for your concept. You are welcome to use point buy, the standard array, or you may roll for them. All official D&D 5e content is welcome for building your character. We prioritize the 2024 rules versions, including Unearthed Arcana for subclasses where available. Content from the 2014 Player's Handbook and its supplements is also welcome. If you have third-party or homebrew content you would like to use, please discuss it with me beforehand for approval. I am always happy to work with you to integrate your character concept into the world of Eberron and connect your backstory to the ongoing narrative.
Currently there are four existing party members, the one free slot here is to fill the slots needed to round the party back up to 5 after real life has claimed a few players. The party is level 4 and there are two Artificers, A Cleric and a Rogue.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To prepare for our sessions, you will need accounts for the platforms we use to run the game. Our primary virtual tabletop is Tale Spire. You do not need to own a copy of the game(But you do need to download and meet the system requirements to run it); I will provide a free player seat for you to use for our sessions with the guest edition of the program. We use Discord for all voice chat, text communication, and community discussion between sessions; I will send you an invitation to our server once you join the game. We also use Roll20 as a secondary tool for character sheets, inventory management, and sharing interactive handouts, so a free Roll20 account is required.
What The Great No Name brings to the table
I am a GM who is passionate about building a long-term, epic story with my players. I believe the best campaigns are a blend of classic dungeon delving and deep, character driven narrative. This campaign will feature a series of adventures inspired by beloved D&D modules, all reimagined and interconnected to tell a single, world-spanning story. Your character's backstory and personal goals are not just flavor; they will become critical threads in the grand tapestry of the plot. To bring this world to life, we will focus on all aspects of the game. You can expect deep exploration as you journey across Khorvaire, delving into sprawling dungeons and uncovering lost history. Rich roleplaying opportunities will arise as you negotiate with complex characters, navigate corrupt politics, and make choices with lasting consequences. Combat will be dynamic and tactical, ranging from desperate skirmishes against cunning foes to epic battles against unique and powerful creatures. My aim is to provide a balanced and engaging experience for everyone at the table. I use ambient music and soundscapes inside of Tale Spire to set the mood and do my best to give NPCs distinct voices to make the world feel alive.

Safety
How The Great No Name creates a safe table
Creating a safe, comfortable, and collaborative table is my top priority for every game. Before you join the main group, we will have a dedicated one on one Session 0. This is our opportunity to discuss the game's themes and make sure everyone is on the same page. It is the perfect time for you to let me know about any topics you would prefer to avoid or any questions you might have about the campaign's content. My virtual table always has an open door. During gameplay, if a scene ever becomes uncomfortable, you are always encouraged to speak up publicly or send me a private message on Discord. We can then pause, adjust, or move past the content, no questions asked. My goal is to ensure everyone feels respected and excited to play every week, and open communication is the most important tool we have to achieve that.
