About the adventure
Indiana Jones. Laura Croft. Atlantis. Cthulhu. Cults. Ancient Civilizations. Clockwork Magics. Kingdom Building and Resource Finding. If these strike a cord, then this is the game for you! You've been chosen, asked, invited, or perhaps even snuck aboard The Peregrine. A ship destined to an archipelago, known as the Islands of Ancorato. The largest island, the titular Ancorato, is where you and at least 100 others will land as the second wave of colonists to arrive and supplement the work done by the first wave. They arrived four months prior and were tasked with construction of a palisade, dock, community buildings, and a handful of houses. Not all is at it seems though! Explore, find survivors, and uncover the dark fate of the first settlers!! Sink or swim in these far-away oceans!

Meet the Game Master
About me
I've been playing D&D, Pathfinder, and other TTRPGs since the early 2000's, and would have started earlier if I'd known games like this existed prior! I started playing computer games, and building computers from the age of 7, and have worked as an IT professional for at least a decade. I started as a Dungeon Master with 3rd Edition D&D and the love of the hobby has grown exponentially! I started an actual play podcast for Pathfinder 2nd Edition with their Abomination Vaults Adventure Path called Devil's Elves and Dice, and simultaneously formed Death Dreams Studio. As of March 2022, I've been digging into the Avatar Legends RPG, The One Ring, and Blades in the Dark RPGs and have started producing the Random Roles Podcast - a show that features various TTRPGs, modules, one-shots and homebrew ideas. Currently running Ruins of Azlant, Rise of the Runelords, and a PF2E conversion of the classic D&D3E Age of Worms campaign, Star Wars FFG Homebrew and my own campaign called Castlerake. I'm more than happy to start any other PF2E campaign OR work with you and your friends to come up with an adventure CATERED to what you want to play!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
PC's will follow the standard creation rules found in the CRB during our Session 0. We will set expectations, and learn about each other, and what we want out of our game, and PC's. During Session 0, you'll have to send me an image you'd like to represent your PC and I'll turn it into a token for use in Foundry VTT
We aim for at weekly sessions, but understand that life gets in the way, so at the very least bi-weekly. We will discuss scheduling and confirm at the end of every session. During our session 0 you can expect the following: Player Introductions ~5 minutes Setting The Table ~10 minutes Group Character Creation & Completion 30-45 minutes Prologue and Game! Character Creation Rules: Common Traits for Ancestry, Background and Class are automatically okay. Anything Uncommon needs to have reason, compelling backstory, fun-idea, and approved to fit the narrative.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need at least a headset, some basic familiarity with the PF2E ruleset or d20 systems, and Discord. We will use FoundryVTT and my Discord server as our primary source of communication for the game and during play. Have a few character concepts coming into Session 0 as well as your preferred roles or ideas. Be excited!!! I know I will be!
What RC brings to the table
Boundless positivity! This game is played online - but I will be providing and running through the full adventure from Book 1 to Book 6, ambient audio, SFX, and dynamic lighting, and provide links or documentation to help with character and world building!
Homebrew rules
I like to use Critical Hit and Fumble Cards for Natural 20s and 1's for the PCs and Unique/Named NPCs. If anyone is opposed I'm happy to remove their usage.

Content Warnings: These are some of the things that we MAY encounter during play but is not limited to - debauchery, maiming, violence, abuse and death of children/animals/elderly, cursing, torture, pregnancy/childbirth, kidnapping/abduction. These can be modified after a conversation. Code of Conduct: Rule #1: All Players are expected to come ready to play with good attitudes. If you're not feeling up to playing, or if you cannot make a game just let me know that you'll be missing the session. Please inform me ASAP so I can adjust for the next session, and accommodate the other players. Rule #2: Every session is assumed to be planned to play. In order for a session to commence, there must be at least 3 players confirmed for attendance. The players may opt to postpone a game if they do not want to continue the narrative without the missing players or PCs. Rule #3: As GM/DM, I have final say on the rules and rulings. I usually favor the Rule of Fun, but I refuse to waste everyone's time arguing about anything that doesn't contribute to the progressing the narrative, or interesting RP. If any player feels I may have missed something or would like to make a suggestion, or statement they are free to do so. In the most extreme cases, if we can't come to a resolution, and the matter isn't dropped, this may result in the ending of a session, and/or expulsion from the game entirely. Rule #4: State what your character is doing either overtly or through messaging me directly. If you do not state what your PC is doing, I will make assumptions and decisions based on them. Do not withhold information from me or speak in an ambiguous manner about your PC's actions, as this can lead to confusion. Be as clear as possible. Declare your intentions and intent on battle maps before moving your token(s) just in case there needs to be clarifications. "I would like to open the door..." "I want to check for traps..." "I want to try and move to..." etc.. From Me: Do not feel ashamed of having to miss sessions. I only ask, if at all possible, to be let known before hand. No need to tell me or any of the other players the reasons, and there is no need to apologize. I will do my best to inform the group of cancelled or rescheduled sessions. I want you as players to have fun, and for your PC's to succeed, and will give advice or guidance if asked. I will never intentionally place your PC or have you engage in situations or scenarios you are not comfortable with - if an instance like this occurs, simply state it and I will deviate and correct as needed.
