Lich's Legacy | LGBTQIA+ Friendly B)
A millennia ago, a party of adventurers slayed an Arch-Lich. Now time has come for a new generation of heroes to stand against an ancient evil.
About the adventure
Immortality is a curse. This is a truth known by every citizen of Xandral. Death is a gift, an ending to the story that is life. Immortality is a grave responsibility. After vanquishing an arch lich many years ago, each ruler of the 5 kingdoms were granted immortality by the gods. Each once a mighty adventurer, turned legendary leaders. Immortality is... still sought after, despite the rulers propaganda. Many know that such a feat is possible, the rulers have stood on their thrones for over a thousand years. Whispers of becoming immortal have long been passed in dark corners, but as far as most are aware, it is unachievable. But as a new group of adventurers are called to stop a newly rising evil, they too will have a choice. Reject immortality and flay the darkness, or embrace lichdom

About me
I've been DMing for over 5 years and have been doing improv even longer! DND has long been my favorite game, ttrpg or otherwise. For the past few years I have DMed several homebrew campaigns, some of which are ongoing!

Character creation
Creating your character
Players will be invited to a campaign server where we can discuss character creation over text! Any cannon DND source book is fair game! Characters start at level 5! You may take 1 rare item and 1 uncommon item or 3 uncommon items.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A discord account is all that will be required for this campaign! I suggest a dnd beyond account to make your character sheet, but that is up to you!
What Sy Andi brings to the table
As a DM, I live by Rule of Cool, with the caveat that it makes sense. If you can justify why your character can do something, then I don't see a problem with that! The vibe of the game will be lighthearted, with more intense scenes as a refreshers. If you are familiar with "Just Roll With It" or "Dungeons and Daddies" then you have a pretty clear idea of what it's like at my table.
Homebrew rules
Potion as a bonus action, maximum effect if used with action. Last Stand: You can fail a death save to make an action or bonus action on your turn. (This is done before you roll the normal saving throw) For more niche rules, if the entire table agrees to change the ruling, i'll write it down for future reference. Combat: Legendary Resistance: If a monster uses a legendary resistance, they will take 10% of their max hp as damage. Or some other equally debilitating effect. Special Actions: Some boss monsters will prepare an effect that will take effect at the beginning of their turn. ie: A lich begins casting a modified disintegrate, it will target the last person to hit it at the start of its turn.

How Sy Andi creates a safe table
I will be sending out a detailed Lines and Veils document before character creation begins. X, N, O's will be sent over text as a dm to me, or to the group. In both cases the game stops and everyone takes a break, no questions asked. From there I will talk with the player that initiated the X, and check in if they need anything from me, or just a breather. Once everything has settled, we can discuss what went wrong and how to continue forward.
