About the adventure

Creating your character
Please communicate with DM Val for help building a character. Circle creation will be handled at the start of the session. Please feel free to build your character in advance if you are comfortable with the process. The character creation rules will be shared via Roll20 if you join with enough time in advance of session zero.

Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord and a Roll20 account for this game. You will also need a microphone. Webcams are highly encouraged but not required.
What DM Val brings to the table
I use the Roll20 VTT and will bring all necessary materials and rulesets via Roll20 content share. Character sheets will be built on Roll20 and battle maps will be hosted there as well when necessary (I intend to use theater of the mind, for the most part). I also utilize ambient music and sound effects. While I'm not the most skilled at it, I love to use character voices. Due to the relatively loose mechanics of Candela Obscura, I want to lean into the rule of cool, roleplay, and theater of the mind storytelling.
