About the adventure

The Shattered Kingdom — A Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt Campaign “Luyarnha must not fall. But how much of it is left to save?” Welcome to Luyarnha — a city of stained glass cathedrals, blood-wet cobblestones, and fractured crowns. Once a beacon of unity between humans and elves, now reduced to ash and ruin beneath the weight of 33 blood-soaked Hunts. Each year, the moon bleeds. And each year, something worse answers its call. You’ll play as a soul bound to this dying city, whether by duty, debt, or desire. A faithful hunter from within, a scholar seeking lost knowledge, a cursed vessel clinging to purpose — whoever you are, you’ve stepped willingly into the quarantine. None leave. Most don’t survive. This is a campaign about strategy, mystery, and eldritch dread. Combat is brutal and layered, like a boss fight in a Soulslike. Some foes have tricks. Some have patterns. All of them can kill you — unless you learn fast. You'll uncover lost gods, unravel tangled loyalties, and decide whether the city deserves salvation... or a clean end. If you're into roleplay with weight, exploration with consequence, and horror that lingers — welcome to the Hunt.

About me

Hey there! I'm Jeye. An experienced and avid player of D&D 5th edition. With thousands of hours DM-ing and playing as a Player, I hope to provide an entertaining, fun game that'll get you immersed and care about the story told! I've run a few dozen games by now, mainly for a good friend group and even a few randoms from time to time. I've about 9000 hours on Roll20 before having recently transitioned over to FoundryVTT. I love creating stories that my players can immerse themselves in, something to really get them active and participating. From using their backstories for major plot points in ways they may not have expected, to openly talking to them about things they would want to see and experience. I devote a lot of time writing so the world may feel alive, and I also devote a lot of time to creating Homebrew Content, which I always make available for my players. In general, my experience with tabletop games has been positive, besides the occasional weird individual when DM-ing for random people or scheduling issues. The most fun for me is seeing the players interact a lot, and roleplay, getting attached to their characters and wanting to see adventures through to the end, or even creating dramatic, cool moments for themselves or others in the group!

Character creation
Creating your character

Before the blood moon rises, we build your hunter. I offer a free Session Zero to walk you through the setting, answer questions, explain mechanics, and guide character creation. Whether you're new or a veteran, I want your concept to fit Luyarnha — and for you to feel excited stepping into it. Character Details: Starting Level: 3 Stats: Choose from Point Buy, Standard Array, or roll 4d6 drop lowest (roll 3 times, pick your favorite set). Allowed Sources: All official 5e material is welcome. Custom content from Steinhardt’s Guide to the Eldritch Hunt is highly recommended — and fully integrated into FoundryVTT. You can hail from any official setting (Faerûn, Eberron, homebrew, etc.), or build something unique. Just make sure your character has: A reason to enter the Quarantine (revenge, duty, faith, curiosity—your call). A personal goal, big or small, to shape your journey. A backstory ready to collide with horror, hope, or both. The campaign begins aboard a train bound for Luyarnha — a one-way trip across the broken countryside, headed toward a dying city where no one returns.

What to expect
Preparing for the session

Discord Server once people sign up, so have an account ready. As well as an account on FoundryVTT/Forge for the game itself!

What Jeye brings to the table

I do funny character voices, typically have a spotify playlist going for the campaign. I've created a nice ambiental playlist already for the setting, as well as a combat playlist! If you own premium, Jamming along is a good option. If that isn't one, I always live-stream my spotify if necessary, though it may be quieter than jamming along due to my audio settings. Combat can be intense at times, but there's always multiple ways of defeating foes, besides simply bringing them down to 0 HP. Tactical thinking can be utilized, but a lucky string of rolls can also carry you to victory. I always opt for rule of cool compared to RAW, though some things are limits I won't bypass. (I do not wish to see a peasant railgun, thank you.)

Homebrew rules

I have a lot of table rules which I've written on my own personal Discord Server. I will run these by my players and see what we all agree on using.

How Jeye creates a safe table

There's a section of Content Warnings down below. All of the things I've placed there have a 'high chance' of happening due to the campaign setting. After all, you're signing up for an eldritch horror campaign. Anyway, on a serious note. I mostly go by Lines & Veils, as well as simply talking with the players about what they are comfortable with or are not. In session 0 we'll likely talk about the main themes, most of which are already listed. I can always do implications, and not be very descriptive of topics if necessary, and am willing to hear out every player and make sure the entire table will be comfortable with the game at hand. I am not quite familiar with X,N,O's but I am willing to hear people out if they wish to implement them. Aftercare, we can always have some funny moments afterwards or simply chat, or take a break if necessary and discuss other matters and things to help bring people to a point where they're comfortable playing again.
