Night City Chronicles: The Red Horizon
Night City Chronicles, every decision you make ripples through neon streets, dynamically shaping the urban landscape and the desperate lives within.
About the adventure
Night City Chronicles: Echoes of Tomorrow Welcome to Night City Chronicles: Echoes of Tomorrow, a series of interconnected Cyberpunk RED campaigns where your crew's actions don't just affect your corner of the megacity – they send tremors throughout the entire urban landscape. This isn't just about surviving the chrome-plated jungle; it's about fundamentally reshaping it. Every deal struck, every corporate hit, every back-alley skirmish, and every street-level uprising will leave a lasting mark, seen and felt by other crews playing in the same living, breathing Night City. Your legend, or your downfall, will become part of the city's very fabric, creating an unparalleled sense of immersion and consequence. This game is set in the gritty, high-tech, low-life future of Night City, a sprawling metropolis where corporate power reigns supreme and life on the streets is cheap. The themes we'll explore are classic Cyberpunk: the struggle against oppressive systems, the blurred lines of morality, the allure of cybernetic augmentation, and the desperate fight for a shred of humanity in a world that constantly tries to strip it away. However, unlike traditional campaigns, Echoes of Tomorrow adds a crucial layer: the theme of interconnectedness. Your story will weave into the larger tapestry of Night City, allowing you to witness the direct results of your predecessors' or contemporaries' choices, and in turn, leave your own indelible legacy for those who follow. This experience is tailor-made for players who crave deep role-playing, tactical combat, and a narrative where their choices genuinely matter. If you enjoy seeing the tangible impact of your decisions ripple through a shared world, if you're excited by the prospect of contributing to an evolving story that extends beyond your immediate group, and if you're ready to embrace the moral ambiguities and high stakes of the Dark Future, then this game is for you. As a Game Master, I thrive on collaborative storytelling, adapting the world to player ingenuity, and ensuring that Night City feels like a true character in our shared narrative – one that responds, remembers, and reacts to every move you make.

About me
Hello! My name is Dylan. I discovered the wonder of TTRPG games in 2016, and have been playing non stop since. I have been a GM since the onset of my addiction. I have run games in 5e, Pathfinder 1e/2e, Starfinder, Witcher TTRPG, Vampire Masquerade 5e, Savage worlds system, Werewolf the Apocalypse 5e, Hunter the Reckoning, Star Wars FFG, Fallout 2d20, Dune, Star Trek, Tales of Xadia, Avatar, Blades in the Dark, and others. If I had to pick a “specialty” is in telling cinematic stories where the players rise from humble beginnings to larger than life heroes with hard fought lessons learned. I would love to run you and your friends through an adventure. I have all the Pathfinder 2e adventure paths as well as most of the Starfinder. If you are interested in any system just let me know and I will see if we can set something up. I look forward to playing with you.

Edit (10/23/24): I’ve been playing with Dylan as our GM for almost three years now(11/21), and we’ve had about 166 sessions together. Over that time, he’s proven to be a super solid GM who’s always prepared but still flexible enough to roll with whatever we throw at him. He learns the rules well, but he’s great about keeping the game fun and letting us think outside the box. Lately, we’ve been moving toward faster, more role-playing-heavy systems, avoiding some of the longer combats that can bog down games like D&D and Pathfinder. Right now, we’re playing Vampire: The Masquerade, and Dylan’s got this shared world going with multiple Coteries—it’s social, political, and just a lot of fun. It’s been awesome to be part of a game where what we do actually affects the other groups and vice versa. We’ve also played games like Traveller and The One Ring, which were a blast, and next up is Dragonbane. I’m excited to try it out since it looks fast-paced and right up our alley. Dylan’s always finding cool new systems for us to try, but he’s got a few games he really excels at, like Vampire. It’s been a great time playing with him, and I’m looking forward to whatever comes next.
Dylan is great! So much so a lot of us play multiples of his games. He's built a pretty active community in discord, so we can all talk shop outside our game hours as well. He allows a lot of player freedom, while still giving the story structure. Oh, and his NPC's are some of my favorite.
I have been playing in Dylan’s games for sometime now and I have to say that he rivals any Dm I have ever played with. I know many people have worries about joining paid game’s wondering if they are really worth their time and money. I can tell you this here and now Dylan comes to his games as a professional. What do I mean by this? He takes your time and money serious. He is always prepared and knowledgeable enough to answer just about any question you may have about the game you are playing. Despite the number of games he runs it always feels like he has time for his players and does his best to ensure everyone has a good time. If you’re still reading this and I’ve convinced you he is the DM for you I implore you to go and check out what games he is currently hosting. Hope to see you join myself and others soon is fantastic games.
Dylan is great! Totally recommend. He’s patient with the newbies in the group (like me), and encouraging for our group to focus our adventures on what makes it fun for us. He’s responsive to feedback, as we let him know what we most liked and didn’t like in the beginning. My favorite parts of his style: he does excellent character voices, sound effects, and in-game music that helps us feel like we are in the story.
Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will be done in session 0 as a group. Characters will be made using the Complete Package method, as well as using the roll tables(roll for result, not pick and choose). For anyone joining after session 0, I will work around their schedule to find a time to link up and help them make a character.
Character creation will be done in session 0 as a group. Characters will be made using the Complete Package method, as well as using the roll tables(roll for result, not pick and choose). Upon joining game, players will see a Discord link under prep materials. Once joining Discord server, myself or one of my mods will walk you to through getting added to the game chat for the game you have joined. VTT access and character creation will be done as a group in session 0, so that the party can be built as a group and we can find fun ways to link characters. Players joining a game after session 0 will have 1-on-1 paid session 0 with me to catch you up on the story, the party, variant rules being used, and help making a character and find a good way for them to be brought into the story that you are happy about.

What Dylan brings to the table
VTT with player access at all times. I used a voice changer for more otherworldly voices, and I try my hand at character voices for the rest. I have catered music for every game, and players will be able to make requests of music for character moments. Players can expect tactical and immersive combat, as well as deep RP.

How Dylan creates a safe table
All players will fill out a Lines and Veils sheet, and I will work with that for the campaign development. During Session 0 we will discuss Lines and Veils, along with X card safety tools. Witcher is a Grimdark fantasy setting, and as such does have some prejudice between races, namely humans and elves, but player characters will not be among the people who do or believe in that, and it will only be used as a way to show negative qualities among the people who believe/think that way.
