About the adventure
Welcome to the Dessarin Valley, a rugged stretch of the Forgotten Realms where sleepy towns, haunted ruins, and unexplored wilderness conceal a growing, ancient threat. What begins as simple investigations into missing travelers and strange weather soon unravels into a dark tale of cults, corrupted elemental magic, and apocalyptic ambition. Can your group uncover the truth and prevent the rise of the four elemental prophets. Or will you be swept away by the forces of destruction? This is a campaign for adventurers who love unraveling mysteries, battling elemental monstrosities, and shaping the fate of a region teetering on the brink. Expect thrilling dungeons, secret plots, memorable NPCs, and morally challenging decisions. Your choices matter, and the world will react as you uncover more about the dangerous cults beneath the surface. Whether you're brand new to D&D or a veteran of the Realms, this game welcomes all. I run games with a focus on collaborative storytelling, cinematic action, character-driven choices, and just the right mix of humor and danger. Roleplay is encouraged, exploration is rewarding, and combat is fast-paced but tactical. So gather your party and prepare to face fire, flood, tremor, and storm. The world is cracking open and only heroes like you can stand in the way of the apocalypse.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi, I’m Jenn - Mother of Monsters (ages 6 & 7), retired Marine, and full-time Cleric main. I’m obsessed with all things thematic: movie premieres, Ren fairs, holidays; you name it, I’m in cosplay. When I’m not healing my party in-game, you’ll find me devouring sushi, binging YA fandoms, or screaming (happily) through horror movies under a fuzzy blanket. I’m a gym rat by day and a pagan witch by night -basically, I lift weights, cast spells, and live for the vibe.

Creating your character
Once the campaign has enough players, you will be invited to the discord server. There you will find all the information for character building prior to session 0. I will also be available for collaboration and questions.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I use Discord and Roll 20 for all my campaigns.
What Jenn brings to the table
As your GM, I aim to create an immersive, story-rich experience where your characters feel like they matter. I do character voices to bring NPCs to life and use ambient music and soundscapes to enhance the mood. Whether you're delving into ancient ruins, sneaking through cult strongholds, or sharing a quiet moment around the campfire. My games embrace the Rule of Cool—if it makes sense, feels epic, and adds to the story, I’ll usually find a way to make it work. I use a handful of homebrew rules to keep the game flowing and fun, and I’m always transparent about how they work. While I value the rules, I believe the story comes first. Expect collaborative storytelling, meaningful choices, and a world that reacts to your actions. I love weaving character backstories into the plot, so your personal goals, fears, and secrets may become part of the larger tale. Above all, I cultivate a safe, inclusive table. Players are expected to respect themselves and each other. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or new to D&D, you’re welcome here—and I’ll support you in telling a story you’ll remember.

How Jenn creates a safe table
Player comfort and safety are a top priority at my table. I use a Go / No-Go list, which is a live, evolving document that players can update as needed. This helps establish clear boundaries and ensures everyone knows what themes or content are welcome—or off-limits—in our game. During play, I use a Red / Yellow / Green Light system to help navigate in-game triggers and emotional intensity. This allows players to communicate discomfort or check in with each other quickly and discreetly, without needing to pause the entire session. Everyone at the table is expected to treat one another—and themselves—with kindness and respect. This is a collaborative space, and I aim to make it inclusive, welcoming, and fun for all players, whether you're here for high-stakes heroism, rich character drama, or just a great time rolling dice.
