About the adventure
Crescent Cove is a sleepy coastal town in New England resting on a beach shaped as its namesake. The salty sea mist sprays up as the chilled waves crash against the dark rocks, roaring like a beast. A beast hungry and waiting. Despite its quiet atmosphere, not all is well in Crescent Cove. Strange voices call from the water, beckoning some to walk into the sea and never reemerge. People reporting odd sightings on the beaches at night. Dead things washing upon the shore. Unrecognizable things. What horrors threaten this place? And will you be the one to stop it, or simply fall victim to the siren’s song of the deep?

Creating your character
Character creation will take place during Session Zero, it is encouraged to have at least a core concept prepared beforehand, but we will all work together to create great characters to explore the world and interact with each other!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a Discord account. Other than that, just bring yourself! I will provide the rules and necessary materials and can answer any questions!
What Laine brings to the table
I offer a Discord server for playing, any supplementary materials needed for play, and a desire to tell a good story! I value collaboration and narrative which will provide a pleasant experience for everyone.

How Laine creates a safe table
During our Session Zero we will discuss player boundaries through lines and veils and will put them in a document able to be added to or altered as player comfort allows. Boundaries and safety are vital in any game. There is a zero tolerance policy for mocking/deliberately breaking a boundary set by either me or another player.
