About the adventure
A party of thieves and scoundrels, led by Vincenzo Vescari, plan to break into a fortified villa of a Tilean noble. Guards, hounds, and even a looming wall block their path and they will need to use all of their guile, wits, skills, and charm to make it through. Unfortunately, just about everyone in the group has their own motivations and objectives at the villa of Rocco and Vanessa Scarletti. This one-shot for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition by "Bad GM" Dan Cole is high-stakes, high reward fun for 3-6 players. Pick your favorite sounding PC from six I've created including Vincenzo himself. Each PC has their own goals and reasons for joining this caper, and some might conflict with the others in the group! Players will need to work together to complete their goals and stay alive!

Creating your character
There are six PCs to choose from, reading through all of their information would ruin a lot of the fun, so Players can choose based on short descriptions. Choosing will be first-come-first served. Vincenzo Vescari (Tilean Human Outlaw) rounded up a team of six ne’er-do-wells with the promise of easy loot from the villa. A young man of 23, Vincenzo is just under six feet tall with piercing blue eyes and long dark brown hair. He is charming and suave, and he knows it. He uses his looks and quick wit to get into and out of all kinds of trouble. Stubbie Snubnose (Halfling Thief) just wants coin. Johannes Schwartz's (Thief-Priest of Ranald) dedication to Ranald the Night Prowler borders on zealotry. Marta Konigsdottir (Dwarf Antagonist) loves to fight. She was promised a night of violence against guards of a noble’s villa with Vincenzo, an old friend from the docks. Maria (Tilean Human Poacher) is a skilled and stealthy ranged combatant, fearsome with her bow, she is well versed in the beasts of the Old World. Natalia “Nettie” Malatesta (Tilean Human Mercenary), a sword for hire was hired as some extra ‘muscle’ for the group, along with Marta. Nettie is very accomplished and will do her job with stoic professionalism and skilled swordplay.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Choose your PC, comment in the group chat so others know who's taken. Having the rules for WFRP 4th Edition available is helpful, but not totally necessary. You will need a Google account to access Foundry VTT through The Forge, I will provide links. A mic is necessary, but a webcam is up to you. We'll connect for video/audio through Discord (I'll provide a link a week before the game, since that's as long as Discord links last anyway).
What "Bad GM" Dan brings to the table
I'll provide the adventure! I was inspired for this one-shot while reading through Deft Steps Light Fingers and an Ocean's 11 inspired one-shot sounded really fun. I've got maps, NPCs, enemies, and pre-made characters for everyone to interact with. I use Foundry VTT and Discord for our sessions. I wrote this to be a fun, but slightly serious (it is the Old World after all) adventure that is high-risk, high-reward. Trying different characters and different tactics at the villa encourage multiple playthroughs as well!
Homebrew rules
A couple minor things in combat- I allow characters to draw/change weapons while moving. Larger than Average creatures need more enemies around them for Outnumbering and most single-enemy encounters have the Grim Talent.

How "Bad GM" Dan creates a safe table
We'll discuss any X Cards or other things to be avoided during the first few minutes of the session. The adventure is written with an 'R' rating in mind, but I am open-minded and will respect any needs of the players.
