About the adventure

This game is inclusive to all players of all types. I like to have a balance of combat, rp, puzzles, and geopolitical intrigue. THe way this world will be run is the world will adapt to player's presence in a way organic to how deeply they interact. If the party decides they want to focus on local issues, the greater world does its thing, almost unaware of them. However, there is an opportunity for greater involvement. Something that is important to me is that all players feel welcome at my tables. This will be an LGBTQIA+ safe space, but my straight brothers and sisters are welcome. I dont tolerate hate of any kind and all questions are valid, so please. Feel free to give us a try.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create our characters as a group. I like to give my players hooks to each other so they can lean on each other in moments where they are unsure of how to rp, or just to try to foster early friendships in the party. However if a more experienced player makes one on their own that is fine too. I just expect them to come to the session 0 so we can tie that concept into the world and narrative.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All I require is having access to discord, a working microphone, and a roll20 account with basic knowledge as to how to log in and roll. Everything else I will teach to anyone who needs.

What Luna brings to the table

I do very basic character voices when I can do so (some types are outside of my range). I do tend to play by the book, but I LOVE re-flavoring things to better suit your concept. Combat tends to be incredibly straightforward. Everything enemies can do are mechanics already in the game and can be prepared for (although meta game should be shied away from whenever possible)

Homebrew rules

I allow players to drink health potions as bonus actions and critical hits and fails roll again. If a crit gets another crit you do x4 damage or some other cool effect. If A crit fails twice in a row something unpleasant, but comical happens. If you crit -> crit fail it becomes a normal attack and if you crit fail -> crit you hit instead of miss. I also only allow 1 player per table to take the lucky feat.

Safety

How Luna creates a safe table

We will have a session 0 to go over basic rules and comfort levels as well open to floor to either openly or privately discuss triggers. The X, N, and O system will be one where players can either put these in chat or send them to me privately and I will direct the narrative elsewhere if I need to. There is no shame in letting me know something is making you uncomfortable, we're here to have fun after all. I have an open door policy to where if anyone needs to message me for any reason they can before, after, or even during session and I will make sure you are at least heard and we come to some sort of solution,
