About me
🔵 34 - he/him 🔵 "Heya" When I run games, my goal is to set a stage for my players. I make sure everything is right; my character work, the soundtrack, the worldbuilding, the narrative cohesion, and most importantly - the table vibe. I want to foster an environment where my players can most comfortably share their creative selves. To me, that means not only immersing them in a game world that feels real and enticing, but also cultivating a gaming environment where players feel heard, and among friends. In addition to being an enduring RPG enthusiast, I've spent most of my life performing. Plenty of time on stage as well as in the booth; my voice is my instrument, and I love no performance as much as I love filling the role of GM. I have long been fascinated by this collaborative medium, and I'm seeking players who similarly wish to explore the narrative possibilities that only RPGs can offer. Let's ham it up and roll some dice! <<Check out the "Youtube" link at the bottom for an old demo of my character work! It's a bit on the loud side right off the bat so be prepared>>

We are only three sessions into our campaign but it has been some of the best fun I have had playing DnD in years. Dabinski is a great storyteller, scene setter, and voice actor which brings such a high level of immersion and excitement into the game. His awesome FoundryVTT setup and soundscapes really add to the immersion as well. He is patient with newer players, and has a great understanding of the Pathfinder 2e system. He does a great job to check-in on and include everybody's characters in the game sessions and it definitely feels like he is just as invested in our characters as we are. Super keen to keep adventuring with Dabinski as my GM! 10/10
I have been playing pathfinder for over a decade now and have been playing with Dabinski for about a year and a half at the time of writing this review, and in those last 10 years or so I can honestly say that I have never played with a GM better than Dabinski. After a few sessions of my first campaign with Dabinski, I could not get enough, and before I knew it I was in 4 concurrent campaigns with Dabinski. Dabinski is truly a one of a kind GM who is unrivalled at facilitating both creative and collaborative storytelling around the table as well as fun and engaging gameplay, fostering a game experience that will stay with you and your fellow players for the rest of your life. Playing with Dabinski is more than just playing a TTRPG, it's getting together with a great group of people from all over the world that you will come to call friends and telling an epic and amazing story together. It has been nothing short of an honor to play at a number of Dabinski's tables and I have made many new friends amongst my fellow players whom I now share many great memories with both in and outside of the game. If you're reading this review and considering signing up to a new game, whether you are a new player or a tabletop veteran, I implore you to take the plunge and start your next epic adventure with Dabinski, you will not regret it. A few of my own adventures with Dabinski are soon coming to an end, but I will certainly be signing up for more adventures with Dabinski for many more years to come, and with any luck you and I might just end up as fellow adventurers some day.
Dabinski is a great dm and storyteller. Very good at intertwining the ideas and creativity of the players with the stories already at play in the worlds he creates. NPCs are loveable and memorable, and every session with Luke is an A+ experience. I really feel like my character has an impact on the game, and on the rare chance I don't and need help connecting, Luke is always ready to assist in finding a way for me to feel impactful. I look forward to many more games with him!
Dabinski does an amazing job bringing depth to every area of the game. NPCs are rich and multifaceted, voices are amazing, and the way he weaves PC stories into the plot has players on the edge of their seats regularly. He's also warm, very approachable, and encourages player driven narratives and contributions. Our game is bringing epic storytelling on par with the most popular D&D shows; session is the highlight of the week for everyone in our group, and we are always waiting for the next session with anticipation. Amazing GM -- will play with him for as long as he's hosting.
I would recommend Dabinski to ANYONE, but I can only speak about my own experience, so here goes. At his table I as a queer person and as a neurodivergent person feel completely safe, nurtured, and encouraged not just to be creative but also to GROW creatively, while never losing a sense of play. We have players from at least three continents, and yet somehow, with his awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences, he makes me feel like we're all in EXACTLY the same place. I've never seen anybody better at helping groups overcome hurdles in a really subtle, sensitive, empathetic way.that makes EVERYBODY feel heard. I want to say particularly that his patience with me as a beginner has been astonishing. He's given me the help and continues to give me I need to keep up, somehow without making it obvious or making me feel called out in any way. All this on top of the fact that his character voices are AWESOME. I've played with a LOT of GMs on startplaying.com, and very few of them have been as good as Dabinski. If you have the opportunity to play in one of his games, you should ABSOLUTELY seize it. There aren't many like him.
Character creation
Creating your character
At our Session 0, we'll congregate in Foundry and in Discord to discuss as a group what kind of adventuring party we want to create. We'll go over the basic game rules and create our 1st-level characters together. Anyone joining us after our Session 0 will need to schedule a one-on-one chat with me *prior* to your first session with us - so I can catch you up on everything you need to know!
Variants in play include: Free Archetype, Gradual Attribute Boosts, Automatic Rune Progression
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a mic, a decent internet connection, and an active imagination! We'll use Session 0 as an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with character creation, as well as Foundry VTT. If you're joining us after our Session 0, you'll just need to schedule a one-on-one chat with me *prior* to your first session with us - so I can catch you up on everything you need to know!
What Dabinski brings to the table
Foundry has everything we need to run the game - from maps and effects to character options and virtual dice. I'll also present some tailored rules-reminders to be accessible at any point during play.

How Dabinski creates a safe table
During Session 0 we'll discuss our various safety tools and how best to utilize them. Afterwards I'll send out the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to get a precise record of which subjects need not be broached during our game. Consent is a constant state of flow, and I intend to foster an environment where the group can discuss uncomfortable situations as they develop, if necessary - and to support one-another in finding the most equitable ways of moving forward with the game.
