About the adventure
Join me for a Session Zer0 Experience! Together, we'll explore the basics of using startplaying.com, Discord, and Google Whiteboard, as well as discuss Internet Safety and Tabletop Decorum. I will provide a step-by-step guide to character creation, optimization, and role-playing. This will include strategies for integrating your character into any compatible game! At the end, we will conduct a brief test combat to help you become more comfortable using your character's abilities to their fullest potential. Let’s create something amazing together!

My name is Rascal (He/Him), but you can call me Sam. I'm from just outside the Chicago area and have two cats with my partner of 10 years. Since I was young, I've wanted to consume all stories and learn to make others laugh, cry, and fall in love. I am a certified story junkie. During this session, we will thoroughly explore character creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You can play everything on your smartphone or PC! Sound is the most important, so you might want to use headphones, but a camera is not necessary. If you do have a camera, you can roll real dice instead of using our digital dice! Players will need both a Discord account and a Microsoft account. I recommend using the Discord app and the Microsoft Whiteboard app. This setup allows me to run any type of game you want, including homebrew games! Make sure all your devices are charged, and don’t forget to grab a drink and a snack! Beyond that, just bring a positive mindset and a healthy sense of humor – that’s all you need!
