Character creation will be done together in Session 0 (your first session before we start the adventure in earnest), so don't worry about needing to know how on your own. However, feel free to come to the game with your ideas, backstories, or builds! Doesn't matter if it's crazy or obvious fan-fiction, I want to hear it! See the Homebrew section for more.

Preparing for the session
All you need is a Discord account, a microphone, and a web browser. I'll handle everything else.
What Varick (Lvl14Bard) brings to the table
I will provide an immersive and interactive audio-visual experience in Foundry Virtual Tabletop, including maps, scenes, music, ambience, automated rolls, digital character sheets, and even fancy spell effects. I provide a welcoming environment brimming with creativity and player-freedom. I don't prepare a story for you to follow, I prepare to improvise to the story you create! The thrill of adapting to the inspired insanity of the players is why I love GMing!
Homebrew rules
Homebrew is allowed at the approval of everyone at the table. Bring your craziest ideas, and we will discuss them in Session 0. I'm comfortable using or adapting anything from any 5e compatible material, including Level Up 5e, Tales of the Valiant, 2014/2024 5e, Unearthed Arcana, TikTok homebrew- anything! Just be flexible to adapting your ideas to what fits the themes of entire group. I promise I'll keep it fun for everyone!

Before Session 0, I will send you the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to fill out, giving us a baseline for everyone's interest and comfort levels. During Session 0, we'll work together to use the safety tools listed in a way that meets everyone's needs. If none of this makes sense, don't worry! I'll walk you through it.
