About the adventure
We are currently going into session 14. Magic is everywhere in the world ā powering trains, warding temples, and shaping the world itself. But now, something is breaking. About me
Hello, everyone! Valknutwolf here. I have been running ttrpg games for 25 years now. So, I have had a lot of time to test and hone my GM skills. I really enjoy running heroic, rp heavy games that utilize incredible plot twists and situations that present moral dilemmas. Players are given opportunities to truly form an emotional connection with the story as their characters develop and grow. I have found that introducing these into games provides opportunities for players to really immerse themselves in the game as they develop and grow their characters. I spent most of my GM career running D&D games. All the way back to 3.0. Recently, I have switched over to Daggerheart. I have really come to enjoy the thematic and exciting tone of this system. It encourages RP and teamwork while not being bogged down by rules heavy constraints. I look forward to the opportunity to run a game for you! So, join up and embark on some amazing adventures.

Creating your character
Please wait until Session 0 to make your character. We will be use the digital tools on Demiplane, which will simplify creation with step by step prompts with an easy, straightforward process. Once characters are made, players will share them with the gm. There are no evil characters or loners who don't trust/work with each other. Characters should want to be a part of a party. After all, you're heroes-to-be.

What you will need: š» A PC or laptop. š§ A microphone. ā¶ļø A free Discord account - for voice, chat, and video. š A free Demiplane account - for character creation. š You do not need to read the rules prior ā I will explain as we go. š The willingness to immerse yourself and enjoy the game. Optional, but preferred: š„A camera is encouraged - it helps engagement. Not needed: š°You will absolutely not need to purchase anything.

š§āāļø I bring a deep understanding of the Daggerheart system along with over 25 years of experience running ttrpg campaigns, with many spanning years of play. I supplement with music, sound effects, homebrew items, dry erase boards, and art. š I will share a digital copy of the Daggerheart core book with all players who are part of the campaign! Free of charge! ā¶ļøI provide access to the lore of the world on the Discord server. This gives players a chance to read up and learn more about the world as they have time. My GM style incorporates a deeply immersive, character-driven story created through collaboration with the players. I inspire and guide the players, but I do not force them to follow a linear path. They are as much a part of the path of the world and their choices will shape the story.

How valknutwolf creates a safe table
Everyone will submit a Lines and Veils prior to Session 0. I will draw up a list and make it available for all to have access to on the Discord. We will go over them during Session 0. This is a welcoming table where we are expected to show respect and kindness to each other. SA, violence against children, prejudice/discrimination, and slavery will not be part of our game.
