About the adventure

The days will grow dark when the One who made vile oaths breaks them against powers beyond his control. The kingdom will be in chaos, and the world will lay in ruin. Beware breaking your oaths to the Three, or you will face the same fate. Looking forward to leading a crew of players through Elderbrain's "Crown of the Oathbreaker". Is this for you?

About me

I am a professional Game Master that focuses on D&D 5e, Pathfinder and Star Trek Adventures. No matter which universe I'm in, I love telling stories, and setting up the heroes and watching them succeed, despite what I throw at them. I'm very "Family Friendly", and prefer to run a clean-language game (words happen in the moment... and that's completely understandable. But try to keep it PG-13, and we'll do great.) I am a teacher and story-teller at heart. I love crafting new places, thoughts and ideas with people then watching those simple ideas become reality. If you would like to explore new worlds, let me know, and I'll help you get started. At the bottom of my full profile page, you'll see links to my existing campaigns and one-shots. If you have an idea or time that you'd like me to GM for you, but you don't find these interesting, message me through this site! I will gladly work with you to make your experience the most fun it can be.

5/5 stars! Jerry is awesome! Group of college friends played for years but w/ COVID& living in different states--hard to get together. Found site on google search & found jerry. Jerry is a blast! quickly learned our playing style ( role playing & outthinking as opposed to slash and grab / monty hall) very easy for breaks and schedule for spouses, kids, pets, etc. Set up pricing through "startplaying". system splits up the cost. Started w/ 1 shot. Stayed for a full campaign

Jerry is the best GM our family has played with. So knowledgeable, patient, generous, and fun. We highly recommend adventuring with Jerry.

Jerry is fantastic! This was our first time playing and we had a great experience. He was patient, hilarious, so creative, and a fantastic listener. His pacing, guidance, and engaging role playing and story telling were perfect. Tip top experience-can’t wait to keep playing with him!

Jerry is a fantastic Dungeon Master! He does a particularly great job of role playing the NPCs, but he excels at all aspects of running the game. Each session is a delight and is eagerly looked forward to by all the players. HIGHLY recommended!

Jerry created a fun entry-level Star Trek Adventures session that made it easy for players to slip into their roles and learn the game (along with him, as it turned out). The story was very true to Star Trek, and he was very flexible when he had to make adjustments based on how we approached the problems he threw at us, and was just as excited as we were that we had Momentum to burn for most of the session. A great time, and I'd happily play with Jerry again.

Character creation
Creating your character

We will start off session 0 with Character Creation, describing what you like and want to see in the campaign. Time allowing, after everyone has built their character, we jump right in!!

What to expect
Preparing for the session

I'm leaning heavily to build out characters on ShardTabletop.com instead of D&D Beyond. D&DB is great, but Shard allows me -- as the GM -- some very nice features which make gameplay more fun and interactive for all involved. It incorporates dice rolling, character management, maps, tokens and everything you need to run a successful D&D campaign.

Safety
How GM Jerry creates a safe table

Each week, we will walk through the module, working our way to it's fantastic conclusion. I don't expect the player to do a ton of prep throughout the week, aside from keeping their character sheets up to level, and know the basic stats (STR, DEX, WIS, etc).
