About the adventure
Coven of the Seven Suns is a story-driven, roleplay-heavy campaign set in the carefully crafted homebrew world of Sah'ra. Sah'ra is a desert wasteland divided into seven Covens, each embodying a different aspect of existence: Hirfa (Artifice), Sumodan (Might), Shatequ (Life), Jura'muhon (Blood and Soul), De'aaw (Light and Dark), Yudakiir (Knowledge), and Atifaton (Emotion). Each Coven is bound to one of the Seven Suns, celestial beacons that guide their people and shape their beliefs. But long ago, there was another—a fallen god, a betrayer. The Moon. A vile, power-hungry entity that thrived on the suffering of mortals. It was Ja'Imuniq, the Coven Head of Jura'muhon, who sealed the Moon away, binding it in golden chains beneath the sands of Sah'ra. Yet, whispers say the chains are weakening. Ypu along with your party have been invited by prince Veneer to the coronation of his younger brother, prince Salih. though you do not seem to be able to recall a reason behind the invitation.... Isn't the coronation reserved for only the highest ranking nobles? Why did Veneer choose to invite you? This is a narrative-heavy, roleplay-focused campaign where player choices shape the world. Expect deep, immersive storytelling, morally complex decisions, and characters who feel as real as the desert winds. This campaign is intended for all audiences, if you're new to D&D or if you are experienced, you are all welcome.

About me
Hi I am Karl, I am a long-time D&D player and DM. I adore storytelling and worldbuilding, I am an aspiring writer, striving to create a story that my players will enjoy. I am a heavy roleplay, with a strong love for character voices and distinct character personalities. I worship the rule of cool and love crafting moments that make the game feel epic and cinematic. While I respect the rules, I see them more as guidelines—if breaking them makes for a better story or a more exciting moment, I’m all for it. My main goal is to make sure everyone is having fun, immersed in the world, and invested in their characters. If you're at my table, expect deep roleplay, memorable NPCs, and plenty of chances to shine. I thrive on player creativity and unexpected twists. If you come up with a wild plan, I won’t shut it down—I’ll find a way to make it work (or at least let the dice decide). I love seeing my players surprise me just as much as I love surprising them. Whether it’s intense emotional moments, ridiculous shenanigans, or epic battles, I want every session to be something worth remembering. Beyond D&D, I’m always brainstorming new stories, characters, and worlds. Writing and character design are my passions, and I love bringing ideas to life, whether through words or art. I enjoy helping others with their characters too, so if you ever need a concept fleshed out or just want to talk shop about worldbuilding, I’m all in.

Creating your character
During Session 0 we will discuss the character ideas and concepts, and create the characters in Shard Tabletop Stats are rolled, with a set stat total. What this means is that when you roll for your character's stats, there is a set value to which the sum of all your stats is equal. We will use Avrae for doing this. We will start at level two, and leveling up will be done using Milestones. All official, and unofficial D&D content is allowed, as long as I deem it as balanced. We will be using D&D 2024, not 2014, but it is possible to alter existing content from 2014 to fit the D&D 2024 content, in which case you can use it.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The game will require a microphone (webcams are not required). We will be playing using Discord, and as for the characters, we will create it during Session 0, though it is prefered to have a general character idea prior to their creation.
