About the adventure
In the sun-kissed lands of Tethyr, where courtly splendor masks festering scars of civil war, a shadow rises once more. The Rhindaun Restoration brought peace to a kingdom long torn apart, but the golden reign of Queen Anais Rhindaun is now balanced on a dagger’s edge. Whispers coil through the marble halls of Darromar’s palaces and the cobbled alleys of Zazesspur—whispers of betrayal, of forgotten bloodlines, of secret cabals plotting in candlelight. As noble houses jostle for power and foreign agents meddle from Amn, Calimshan, and beyond, the question on every tongue is the same: Will Tethyr endure… or bleed again? Espionage, lies, and high sorcery weave a tangled web beneath the silk-draped courts and lantern-lit streets. Assassins stalk the Rose Palace under illusions, spies pass secrets sealed with arcane glyphs, and traitors walk in masks of loyalty. From the hill country of Ithal Pass to the anarchic harbor districts of Myratma, ancient grudges and hidden ambitions boil over. The mysterious Circle of the Ninefold Vine claims to defend the crown—but are they guardians, or puppeteers? And who are the Crimson Veil, the faceless operatives whose symbol now marks the sites of treachery? Into this storm step the heroes: outcasts and lords, mages and sellswords, patriots and saboteurs. Whether they rise from the gutters of Saradush or the vineyards of Ithmong, each has a part to play in the game of blades and banners. Will they safeguard the fragile peace—or shatter the realm with secrets too dangerous to stay buried? What begins as a simple mission may draw them into conspiracies centuries in the making, tangled with the buried legacies of House Dambrath, the djinni-ruined lands of Calimshan, and relics of the Shoon Empire itself. The fate of Tethyr will not be decided in the throne room, but in the alleyways, council chambers, and haunted crypts where truth wears many faces. In a land where honor is currency and betrayal buys thrones, the line between hero and villain grows ever thinner. Choose your allegiance, trust with caution, and prepare to play the game where the prize is the soul of a kingdom.

Creating your character
During a personal session with me or at Session zero we will work on character creation and background. I use the following method. Players will roll 4d6 and drop the lost six times. If they are satisfied with that group of numbers, then they can assign them to their abilities. If their rolls are bad, I will allow them to instead use a 29-point-buy system to assign their scores.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should load the Fantasy Grounds Unity Demo version at the link: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/home/FantasyGroundsUnity.php When you connect to my game, all the books and modules you will need will be available. You will also need to have a Discord account. Once I have accepted you as a player I will provide the link ot my server.
What Vonwilli brings to the table
My games are about you creating a story with your characters. If you come up with an action or idea that fits the story but not necessarily the rules as written, I am open to letting you try it. We are here to have fun. Now that doesn't mean I will let anything happen, but I will allow you to convince me should be able to do it.
