About me

I have been an avid TTRPG player since 2000 when the hobby was introduced to me. D&D was my first & the system I have the most experience with. I've played many different systems over the years, mostly d20 based. I like to make the story feel unique & personal by using what players provide me with (backstory, role play, decription of their character) to craft an experience that is not soon to be forgotten. I give attention to all players at the table & lean in to what each person likes about the game/their character as much as possible. Last, I like to see the players at the table having fun. Nothing is more rewarding as a DM than when players are eager to attend the next session becasue they are having so much fun at the table. *sheds a single tear* So, please have a seat at my table. Relax your mind & body as we set off on an amazing adventure together!

Nick is simply the best. He's equally comfortable with Theater of the Mind and VTTs. He does a fantastic job of ensuring that everybody gets a chance to shine and is incredibly inclusive and welcoming to new players and veterans alike. Just sign up. You won't regret it.

After over a year of playing in Nick's campaign, it’s bittersweet to write this final update to my review as I wrap up my time in this incredible adventure. Having had the pleasure of playing in Nick's games, I can confidently say he is the best Dungeon Master I’ve ever had the privilege of rolling dice with. If you’re even slightly considering joining one of his campaigns, take this as your sign to do so—you won’t regret it. What truly sets Nick apart, though, is his understanding of balance. He knows exactly when to step back and let the players take the reins, fostering moments of meaningful roleplay and exploration.

Nick is a master of roleplaying. His maps are challenging and interesting. His NPCs are well scripted and he prompts great roleplaying. The best DM I’ve had.

I've played quite a few sessions with Nick now... 26 or 27? Something like that. This review is well overdue. If you're looking for a chill, knowledgable, collaborative DM with a touch of old school about their game, look no further! Nicholas weaves the story effortlessly within the theatre of the mind and his games are always a highlight of the week that I look forward to. Nick is also super patient and helpful with players who are new to the game and tries to make everyone feel included and valued at the table. He's flexible and tries to make the game accessible for everyone. Oh, and he wants your character to feel important and badass, so Nick's willingness to power up your character sooner rather than later is a new experience for me! Thanks for the sweet loot!

I’ve had 2 sessions with pimli and love it. I’ve played with 2 other very good dms and they are good. But pimli has made theatre of the mind way better than vtt games. I am so much more immersed in the game. This is a testament to pimlis style. He’s great with new players and open to building the character you want to play. You would be silly to not give him a try.

Nick is by far one of the best GMs I‘ve played with. He makes D&D fun, exciting, and engaging. He makes space for everyone to feel included and have there moment in the spotlight. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone new or experienced looking for a new adventure!
