The Crooked Moon | Lvl 1-13 or 20 | Folk Horror Fantasy | 18+
When a blood-red moon rises over the cursed village of Foxwillow, ancient terrors stir in the shadows.
About the adventure
The wind stirs the barren branches, and the night air carries a scent of damp earth, woodsmoke, and something else — something older, something wrong. For generations, folk in these parts have spoken of The Crooked Moon, an ill-omened crescent that sometimes hangs in the sky, its gnarled face twisted in a leer. When it rises, the old roads grow treacherous, beasts stir in the forests, and the boundary between the living and the dead frays like an old rope. The village of Wickermoor, little more than a scattering of cottages and sagging fences, lies huddled in the shadow of Wickermoor Hollow. It’s a place people leave, not one they travel to. But you — by misfortune, obligation, or desperate need — have come. The harvest failed. Children have vanished into the trees, and Druskenvald is in danger. The villagers of the Hollow speak in hushed tones of The Horned One, of witch-lights on the moor, and of an ancient debt soon to be called. Tonight, beneath the cold gaze of the Crooked Moon, you will uncover what ancient pact festers in the roots of this land — and whether you can outlast the night. SESSION 0 IS FREE and start on August 10th! We will be streaming this LIVE on Twitch!

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hey ladies and gents! If you’re reading this, then you’re probably considering me as your next Dungeon Master. I really appreciate your consideration and will give my all to give you the best experience possible! So, without further delay, I'm Todd or Wereraven! I’ve been playing D&D 5e for 5 years now, and have been the DM for 4 years of that. I’ve DMed all experiences from newcomers to older veterans alike. I encourage role play above all else, but don't force people out of their comfort zones. I love to tie backgrounds and PC interests into the main storyline an add my own homebrew flair where appropriate! I am not a rule encyclopedia and I love rolling with the "Rule of Cool" where it fits and enhances the plot and setting without breaking the game and mechanics. I am always striving to learn more and bring better and better sessions as the campaign progresses!

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Storytelling
Visual Aid
Wereraven is an incredibly proficient GM with whom I have had the pleasure of playing for months now. He is proficient in everything that is required of a DM and excels in areas I would never have expected. He makes time for his players even outside of game time and is more than happy to work one-on-one with his players to craft narratives that are both compelling and, at the same time, incredibly nuanced and well-delivered. I am delighted with him, and am incredibly happy to continue playing with him.
One of the best DM experiences I've ever had. They are very accommodating, a great world presenter, allows for the players to be creative with their characters as well as integrates them into the setting, and isn't afraid to let the players RP for as long as they need. I can't recommend them enough!
