About me
Hi! I'm Natalie. I'm a big ol silly goose who loves to play DnD and DM for other silly gooses! I love to let people drive the story as much as I do and facilitate a safe space in which to have fun. Been a nerd forever, will be a nerd forever. I also happen to be a queer trans human and hope to make other queer, trans, and neurodivergent people feel safe and seen and able to express themselves through roleplay and exciting combat encounters with our DnD characters.

Creating your character
This adventure uses 5 premade characters to choose from! Note: You're also welcome to create a character on Demiplane and import it to Roll20 if your accounts are linked should you have that resource.
Learn to play Daggerheart in one session! You'll pick one of 5 super awesome pre-made characters designed by the Critical Role team! Those with Demiplane characters of their own are welcome, but please be patient with new players! Send me your char and make sure your Roll20 is linked.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Join my Discord: https://discord.gg/HX7yeZxgK9 Pick a premade once you're there and post your choice with your session time/date! You'll need a working microphone, a Discord account, and access to Roll20 to jump in.
What DM Natalie brings to the table
I provide a safe space in which to learn and role play your characters. I encourage people to try and think through their characters eyes and just describe what they would do in the scenario - then I'll walk you through how to mechanically do what you want. Everyone can learn together in a collaborative environment! There is a bit of mystery, role play, combat, and chaos in this adventure and with me I try to always honor player creativity - though I will let the dice decide!
Homebrew rules
We'll be using the rules as written to make sure people can learn the rules to this new and super amazing system.

How DM Natalie creates a safe table
I do not include most triggering content in the game but should something arise which does not make someone comfortable, I have a Safety Deck from which people can toss out a card on the table and stop play immediately for any reason. It's encouraged for you to advocate for yourself as well.
