About the adventure

The year is 1 ABY. In this alternate universe of Star Wars, Luke, Leia and Han did not seek to escape the Death Star. Instead, while Obi-Wan Kenobi kept Darth Vader distracted, the three heroes made their way down to the central reactor core of the Death Star. Using Galen Erso’s plans, they caused the battle station to detonate, saving the Rebel Base at Yavin IV. Due to unexplained circumstances, only Obi-Wan Kenobi escaped the battle station on a shuttle, being chased by Vader - he jumped to lightspeed right before the battlestation detonated. It is one year later. Having been in deep hiding, General Kenobi has been asked by General Drayven to rebuild the Jedi tradition and, more importantly, keep Darth Vader and the Empire distracted. General Kenobi has recruited you as part of a small group of Force sensitives have been provided with a ship, and now carry out missions across the galaxy to assist Force users and recover Force lore. Its a suicide mission, being pursued by the Empire, but then all heroic adventures are, aren’t they? This is a Force and Destiny game designed for beginners as well as old hands. Can you help Obi-Wan Kenobi save the galaxy?

About me

GM since 1980, I run games you haven't heard of. Indie and non-Hasbro games are my gig! I wrote 'How Humakt Learned to Grieve' for the Jonstown Compendium. I run Star Wars, RuneQuest and other non-Hasbro games. I use safety tools such as lines and veils, X-card, brief and debrief, bleed management tools and others. My table is an explicitly safe BIPOC/ND/Queer/Trans/LGBTIA+ space as I am queer and nuerodivergent myself.

Safety

How Chris creates a safe table

Lines and Veils will be discussed in Session Zero. My practice is to fade to black and let events stand, but your comfort as players is priority. X card will always be available for use. I generally plan one 10 minute break in the middle of a session. If there's an emergency or family issue, just message me and let me know. I highly encourage Stars and Wishes, and I am happy to extend game time one half hour for aftercare discussion, or to arrange talks away from game time for individuals or the entire group.
