About the adventure
"So glad you could join me today, I am Dr. Balsa. I was once this regions Professor but I have since passed that title down to my protoge. In my retirement I have taken to study to profound phenomenon of comradery between Pokemon and their trainers. If you wouldn't mind giving me a hand I'd be glad to reward you." Welcome to the Toman Region! Based off of the north east region of the United States you will begin on the small isle of Round Island before striking out to the region at large to explore at your leisure. With gym challenges, contests, and plenty of Pokemon to catch and catalogue, the Toman Region has something for every one! Although, the local company Clean Co. has been increasing activity lately and some cities have been fully refusing the entry of certain Pokemon. With whispers of a coalition named Team Neat in the back of everyone's minds, will this looming threat hinder your Pokemon journey?

Creating your character
Character creation will be handled in a session 0 to go over basic mechanics, character ideas, and starter Pokemon. Stats will be the standard array as listed in the Players Handbook. All material will be provided by myself but are freely available online to view before entering the game! I am available to answer any questions you might have!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
During session 0 we will go over the character you'd like to play, their backstory and why they would want to take the retired Professor's offer. I want you to feel satisfied when playing your so please tell me any concerns. If any help is needed when making your character I'd be happy to help build the character you want to play. Standard will be used for stats in this game to ensure fairness and variety when building your character. There will be cut down version of the obtainable Pokemon in this region, but we will all have a say in which ones we want to see!
What Benn brings to the table
I use Roll20 for virtual tabletop, which includes maps, tokens, and handouts to visualize the game world. I will also come with a deep love of the Pokemon games and anime and hope to provide an experience that encapsulates both! I like to provide a unique experience to players with a lot of roleplay and connecting players to the world they play in. With the aid of music and sound effects I hope to craft an immersive adventure. While I tend to stick to the rules I love creativity and am happy to make things work that don't fit perfectly to the rules. This is a game of imagination and fun always wins out. All in all I just love Pokemon and telling a fun story is something I'd be happy to do with you.

How Benn creates a safe table
As this is a Pokemon game it will stick closely to the themes set by the franchise, it will likely not delve farther than a PG-13 rating. At any point players can message me privately with X, N, or O in regard to the current content and will be dealt with immediately. In the middle of the session there will be a 5-10 minute break for bio, drink refills or just a chance to move around. After sessions I'd appreciate feedback or things you'd like to see so I can offer the best possible experience to all of you. Session 0 will be for introductions as well as character discussion and creation. I will also give a brief overview of the campaign with tone, themes and expectations in mind. Any important questions you might have I'm more than happy to answer!
