About the adventure

In a world of Hyrule where the Hero of Time is no where to be found, the goddess still call upon heroes to help stop the evil that manifests within the kingdom and threaten the world. A celebration of not just Ocarina of time, but the Zelda series as a whole. No need to be a fan of the series to enjoy this full fledge campaign and for those who have played expect tons of easter eggs and references. Hyrule homebrew races, items, and enemies are all part of the adventure as the quest to save the land and all of the Earth is at stake!

About me

I have been hosting tabletop games for over 5 years and have experiencing DMing all walks of life. I also have over 10 years of improv experience as well as a fan of fiction writing. I do tend to lean more on homebrew material when it comes to my main campaign, however I do host on occasion several books or official adventures from the source depending on the groups interest or if I have a good idea on how to run it. I tend to run more games that are unorthodox then usual games such as the Ocarina of Time campaign and a NCIS style cop drama that takes place in 80s Miami. I try to take the system into some wild places but with well writing and fun action to go along with it. I would say I am more 60/40 RP being more of the front runner but I try to make sure theres a good balance of combat and story telling.

Character creation

Creating your character

The players will all start at level 1 with a homebrew class of Hyrule races that were created with each of their own unique abilities that are very faithful to their series counterparts. D&D Beyond currently hosts all the homebrew races that will be used in the campaign. We can use session 0 as an opportunity to go over and even create our characters as well as expectations for the campaign.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A mic is required for this campaign and while basic knowledge of D&D 5e would be nice, its no biggie teaching as we go. Players will be able to create characters on their own if they choose to, however a session 0 will be done to go over character creation.

What Focus Fiasco brings to the table

I will be providing the maps on Foundry with a lot of visual a lighting cues as well as music for ambience, my best attempt at voices and even fun Zelda lore as we journey through this campaign and world of Hyrule together.

Safety

How Focus Fiasco creates a safe table

During our session 0, i would be able to post Lines and Veils on discord and have either the group or those who are attending if there would be anything more to add to the list as well as what they can expect in campaign in terms of length and content. Most of the gameplay will be done on Foundry, but if there is a check in tool required, the players sign can be messaged and the appropriate action can take place.
