Surviving the White Hill Outbreak
The living dead have come to the sleepy village of white hill. Do you have what it takes to survive until, help arrives.
About the adventure
Zombies roam the streets, skeleton archers man the village watch towers, and packs of ghouls hunt for surviviors. Hope is not lost though, because before the village was over run the signal fire was light and help is on the way. In this one shot players must survive a day in the now undead infested White Hall or find their own way out of its walls. This is a survival horror one shot (think pg13 horror) with high chance of character death, plenty of tension, and opprotunity for clever planning. The primary challenges of the game will be in managing limited resources and staying undetected in the village.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I have been playing tabletops for over six years now. The biggest reason I am looking to become a professional DM is to justify the amount of time that I spend working on my craft as a dungeon master. I am currently looking nearing the end of my time at college and earning my degree in creative writing. In my opinion, Tabletop games are one of the most engaging forms of storytelling, and there is little else in the world that I enjoy more. I am a very flexible DM who believes that the purpose of the game is to engage in collaborative storytelling. With that in mind, one of my primary goals is to make any game I am running a safe and comfortable space for all of my players.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Storytelling
Rule of Cool
World Builder
I have played a lot of sessions under Hunter between three campaigns. All three were filled with lore and stories. One of these campaigns is so rich in story and lore that I, a dedicated note taker, could make a small novel from my notes. Yet, as much story as he presents, it never feels overbearing or overwhelming. Instead, it almost always feels like a natural continuation of what we the players already know, like discovering another piece of a puzzle. Thus, I highly recommend Hunter as a GM.
I have been playing in Hunter's games for about 2 years now, and they have all been a wonderful experience. There is a focus on telling each character's story throughout the narrative in a fun and fulfilling way that integrates seamlessly into the world. Hunter's word building is also top notch, with every location and character feeling like they were meant to be there and the world would be lesser without them. Overall it's been a great experience, I highly recommend Hunter.
Character creation
Creating your character
As this is a oneshot players will be expected to make characters before the game. I will be avliable to assist in this before the oneshot, and will have five premade characters for players to choose from if desired. The characters will be level three and made using the Elephant in the room rules for Pathfinder 1e. Characters will be built in foundry.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a microphone, a stable internet connection, a dicord account, and a https://forge-vtt.com/ account. Players do not need to be experts in the system, but looking at the rules before we play is encouraged.
What Hunter brings to the table
For this Oneshot I will be providing custom maps, ambient music and sound effects, and a unique story. My GMing style is very open to imporove and I encourge my players to take swings in game play. Table Top Games are first and foremost something to be enjoyed, and I veiw it as my job as the GM to create that enjoyment.
Homebrew rules
The Elephant in the Room rule set, should be the only relevant homebrew rules to this game.
