About the adventure
What does Foundry VTT look like? How does it work? Is it something I should consider using in my *own* games? If you're a GM who is currently running your games via Roll 20, Fantasy Grounds, Owlbear Rodeo, or any *other* Virtual Tabletop, here's a chance for you to take a look at an alternative platform and see if it's something you'd be interested in. During this 3 hour GM Workshop, we will walk through a full overview of what Foundry VTT has to offer you and your players. There is a complete, real-time demo, as well as plenty of overview. We'll be taking a look at Foundry VTT in terms of: ✅ Cost ✅ Hosting Options ➡ (personal computer vs. web hosting) ✅ Campaign Setup ➡ (maps, scenes, journals, lighting) ✅ GM Features ➡ (compendiums, PC/NPC management) ✅ Player Features ➡ (combat, inventory, movement, vision) ✅ Customization ➡ (shopping & vendors, playing cards) ✅ Wishes & Stars Disclaimer: Please note that this workshop is *NOT*: ❌ an attempt to "convert" you to Foundry VTT. ➡ If you like the VTT you're currently using, great! Keep using it! ❌ a place to ask for tech support. ➡ There are *hundreds* of YouTube videos on "how" to do things in Foundry VTT. This isn't one of them. I'm looking forward to introducing you to this unique and powerful Virtual Tabletop platform.

About me
Like a lot of fellas my age, I started out playing Dungeons and Dragons in the 1980s. And, if you've ever seen "ET" or "Stranger Things", it was *exactly* like that (right down to the wooden paneling in the basement). Throughout the years, I've had the privilege to sit across the gaming table from some *wonderfully* knowledgeable players and game masters. And I've had an opportunity to play a wide variety of games. I'd like to pass those experiences on to others, so that they can enjoy a *really* great session at the gaming table as much as I have.
