About the adventure
The Black Thorn Guild has been contracted to kidnap the heir to the noble house Blackwyck for unknown reasons. You suspect it's part of a plot to bring down one of the noble houses of the city of Travis. Your reasons for taking the job are your own, but the Guild has made it clear: No one must be killed on this mission. Considering House Blackwyck has their own trained guard staff, this may prove a problem. Your goal is to enter the Blackwyck mansion through the maze of tunnels beneath the city - without drowning, of course, because Travis is a city with streets of water. Can you pull off this caper?

About me
Hi, I'm Andy. I have been playing DND since AD&D back in the early 90s and have been DMing for nearly as long. I have a campaign I'm very excited to share. Explore a world of dead gods and warring religions. Try to discover what wiped civilization off the world before the current pantheon of gods arrived. Sound fun? Send me a message and we'll get a game going. Games I run focus on immersion and storylines woven together. If you decide to take one quest and skip another, you'll run into the consequences of the quest you did not take later. I feel like it keeps the world alive. I do improvisation around a loose framework of plans and try to keep things moving at a good pace. Join up and let's have some fun!

Creating your character
You can create a character or use one I generated. Stats will be rolled and we'll start everyone at level 3. The standard player's handbook will work, but if you find a decent reference to something more obscure that's fine too.
I tend to go for a mix of roleplay, combat and puzzle. Expect to do a bit of each in the adventure.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a microphone and discord. I have a dicebot. Creating a level 3 5E character is optional, I have some that are prepared.
What super radish brings to the table
I emphasize fun above all else. Combat is kept at a good pace, puzzles are not stupidly hard, and the narrative will have rich descriptions of the scenery. Expect any combat to be resolved without needing a map. This is a one-shot, we're focused on the theme of the adventure, not the one or two battles you'll be fighting. I'm good with accents and voices. Above all I believe fun is the key - Rule of Cool trumps all when it comes to these games for me.
