About the adventure
Under raging storm clouds, the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind’s howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. Far below, yet not beyond his keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd’s face forms the barest hint of a smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they came; all according to his plan. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner—and you are invited. All players welcome. veteran or new/beginner players. It does not matter you are all welcome to join in on the terrifying journey into the misty domains of dread. Into Barovia where the ancient vampire Count Strahd von Zarovish rules with an iron fist "He is ancient. He is the land" Will you be able to stand up against this ancient evil? Will you even be able to survive in the mist of Barovia? An Epic adventure with a lot of focus on Gothic horror, werewolves, witches, vampires and much much more. With the help of Van Ritchen's guide to Ravenloft you have 2 new subclasses. one for bards, one for warlocks. new Lineages (races) like Reborn or Hexblood. This game will put a lot of focus on gothic horror and the macabre. The terror that lurks in Barovia. A grim and dark realm where people suffer on daily basis. Where horror lurks everywhere. In the domains of dread the things that go bump in the night are real. Will the characters survive, will they be able to escape Barovia or will they be just fall like so many before them. It will be run with emphasis on this theme of horror. With sanity rules added as facing such horror will have an impact on the characters This is an 18+ game as it has a lot of focus on the horrors of Barovia Characters will not just be faced with horrible things but often also be forced to make uncomfortable choices.

Hey there i am Shaugnar or Dan, up to you. I am a Swedish guy that been playing a variety of different TTRPG's for a long time. Both as a player and a Dm. Besides D&D i also played games like Dark Heresy, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu and more I love roleplaying games. they are fun they are exciting and we all might need a bit of an escape from the real life now and then. We create Characters on Session Zero. Where we also will talk about expectations, play style and just get to know each other. New players welcome and i gladly help with Character creation if needed and the basics of Roll20 where the game will take place
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have an active account on Roll20. Have Discord and a decent Microphone so we can hear you. No need to know all the rules or have a full grasp on ow to create a character. Some basic knowledge is good but help will be given for new players as logn as you are willing to learn
