About the adventure
WELCOME TO RAVKA! Ravka is a medieval high magic fantasy living world in which you'll play as adventurers going about and TRYING to make the world a better place (not necessarily always being successful) I run a modified version of 5e that offers a large variety of homebrew character options (classes, races, spells ect) addionally I use custom rules to make combat more intricate and visceral. Beyond that you can customise your characters with the skill tree offered to all players. At my table you can expect your backstory to not only be integrated into my world but woven into the very campaign. I have had a backstory centric GMing style for 10 years and that's what I offer you in my game. I hope you come join me as we tell an epic tale together!!! About me
hey guys, my name is Joe (He/Him) and I have been DMing DnD and other TTRPG's for about 10 years. I love running homebrew campaigns within my rich homebrew world of Ravka, though I'm not exclusive to running games within in. My favorite things about TTPRG's is the rich stories and laughs we get to have as we gather together and play make-believe but with Dice. If you're looking for a GM who's focus is player backstory, then I'm the guy for you

Creating your character
We'll go through all of this during session 0 however for character creation details start thinking of a 4th level character you want to play. For stats I use a method where we all roll then take the average of everyone's rolls so we're all on equal footing and take the maximum for health at each level.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have a computer that can run Roll20 and a functioning mic, additionally a discord account so you can actually join the server in order play with us.
What Joe brings to the table
I use Roll20 as my primary VTT, complete with maps and homebrew character content. I’ve also created a comprehensive homebrew document detailing all available options, including a unique weapon system and a talent tree system. Instead of simply granting a bonus to rolls, skill proficiencies additionally unlock a variety of bespoke abilities that you can use strategically. I strive to bring characters to life with distinct voices and typically ask a player to handle music (though I can manage it myself if needed to keep things running smoothly). All other details will be covered in Session 0.
