Ive played with Joe for about 6-8 years now and I can tell you, if your a creative person, you will truly shine and enjoy his games. Joe is an amazing collaborator and storyteller, and allows your creativity to flow and inspire. When doing character backstories, you could spend hours on call waffling about your character’s background bouncing ideas, thoughts, and feelings about your character. His storytelling is off the charts and his voices are fun. He creates a specific vibe when playing dnd, a vibe that says “im here to tell a story”. Combat feels like a boardgame with him. The monsters will do something other than sit there and swing their claws. Shit will happen and get done. If you like random encounters that arent just combat, boardgame like combat, amazing story telling, incredible ideas and a creative mind, and just a hint of cringe, Joe is the dm for you.
