About the adventure
In this game, you will... 🟣 Journey through malignant, nightmarish forests full of unseen horrors 🔵 Explore dangerous islands full of legendary monsters and treasure 🔴 Affect the fate of the a city wracked by plague and and the surrounding areas. 🟢 Maneuver through the manipulations of three different factions, all vying for power. In the wake of disastrous conditions, civility has crumbled into chaos. A crime syndicate, a corrupt government and the wizard's council all struggle for control--while the people get caught in the crossfire, powerless to stop any of it. Your party's work for the adventurer's guild will take you deep into the heart of these conflicts. Will you push for change, maintain the guild's neutrality, or do anything necessary to survive?

About me
The first time I walked into a game store in 1992 and learned to play D&D, I was immediately hooked. Not on the game--that came later--but on the energy of the place, on the shared community, and on those beautiful, clicky-clacky dice! TTRPGs quickly became my favorite form of entertainment, and within a couple of years I was running games of my own. I continued running them through college, marriage, and the start of my family, but after my second child was born we moved away and I hung up my GM hat until 2020. I later discovered 5th edition online, and it re-ignited my passion for the hobby. This version of D&D is closer to the way I like to play than any other, so I started DMing again in 2021. I jumped on board with SPG in 2023, and I love having this chance to connect with new players, start new games, and tell new stories together!

Creating your character
1️⃣ Upon registration, you'll be asked to join my Discord server. This is where gameplay will take place. 2️⃣ Once you have, I'll connect with you in a 45-60 min call to get to know you a bit, assess your level of experience and discuss your character concepts. 3️⃣ Character creation will be done together during session 0, to form a cohesive team. If you join after session 0, we'll discuss your character together to make sure they are a good fit.
So far we have a rogue, a guardian, bard, and druid.

Preparing for the session
Needed web accounts (all free): ⭐Discord ⭐Foundry VTT Needed equipment: ⭐Webcam and mic ⭐Stable internet ⭐A quiet setting with minimal background noise ⭐Desktop or laptop computer (no tablets) Needed characteristics: ⭐Experience: None! Teaching beginners is one of my favorite parts of being a GM. I will work with you to make sure you understand what's going on. ⭐Willingness to cooperate with other players. ⭐Willingness to roleplay--to try to react the way your character would. You will not be expected to use a "character voice" or speak in first person. My games are a safe place for players to explore getting into character at the rate they feel comfortable.
